It is with great excitement CPAPtalk.com releases Product Challenge Ten results! The competition was intense and the results are sure to provide a great deal of insight to the sleep community. Product Challenge Ten brought the Fisher & Paykel Opus 360 Nasal Pillow Mask up against the ResMed Mirage Swift LT Nasal Pillow Mask. Fifty qualified participants sampled each mask for three weeks. At the end, users were asked which mask they would continue to use. An even split in the votes indicates that the top selling Mirage Swift LT, has some competition - especially since the Opus retails at a lower price.
Along with voting for their preferred mask, participants also rate product features and provide open feedback. The results revealed some important findings. Both masks provide innovative solutions for common problems. Where the Swift LT provides angled nasal pillows for a better seal, the Opus has wider nasal pillows to prevent leaks and promote comfort. Many participants were excited about the ball and socket hose attachment on the Opus 360 which allows more movement at night. Swift LT users with XL pillows found the Opus pillows were not large enough for their nares. View more in depth results here.
