The new Resironics M Series BiPAP Auto brings together a unique combination of Respironics technologies to create the most feature packed and cost effective BiPAP on the market.
The M Series Bipap Plus differs from a CPAP in that it switches back and forth between two pressure levels, one higher and one lower, rather than providing one continuous pressure level. The pressure upon inhalation is higher to hold the airway open, but as the user exhales, the pressure drops to a preset lower level. A bilevel machine responds well to people with very high CPAP pressure needs, weak chest wall muscles, lung disease or other health problems that keep them from being able to exhale against a CPAP pressure.

Power Options
Universal Power
The M Series Bipap Plus operates automatically between 110v – 240v AC. When traveling either inside or outside the USA, there are no switches to switch or fuses to change. The machine will automatically sense what voltage is needed and set itself to run on the power needed.
The user will need to adapt the plug that goes into the wall to fit the style of outlet socket that is being used. This is simply done with a Power Adapter Plug kit. This is the same type of plug adapter that would be used with a hair dryer or an electric shaver.
The M Series BIPAP Plus comes equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit. This allows the user to connect the CPAP to an external DC battery source.
Using a Respironics, 12volt DC Power Cord the M Series BIPAP Plus can be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal for traveling by car, boat, or recreational vehicle that is equipped with a cigarette lighter plug.
It is recommended that you use a 100 amp hour, 12v DC deep cycle marine battery for operating you CPAP machine when not connected to 110v AC /230v AC.
There are two cables needed to configure the M Series BIPAP Plus with a Marine Deep Cycle Battery. They fit together to make a connection from the back of the M Series BIPAP Plus to the battery clip terminals on the marine battery.
Here are the links to the cables needed to hook up to a marine style battery. Both cables are needed.
The Respironics Battery Pack has been a long standing favorite of our customer’s. It weighs in at 13lbs and can be carried easily with its shoulder strap.
This battery pack will give roughly 26 hours of use, depending on the cpap pressure setting. (Results may vary.)
