Great Machine

"This is my first machine and have only been using it for a week. I'm using it in the CPAP mode, per my provider's prescription. I went with the AutoAdjust model because it provides both compliance and clinical data. It was very easy to set-up. Strong points are the ease of set-up, the compact size, and how quiet it is. About the only weak point is the lack of exhalation relief, although I hesitate to mention since I've been using the delay (ramp) feature, it really hasn't been a problem. The heated humidifier (I haven't needed to use it yet) is easy to install.
In mentioning the availability of compliance and clinical data, I should mention that you don't have to have the SmartLink module and software to get it. Through CPAP.com, you can enter the SmartCode for a day, week, month or quarter to get the information SmartCode provides pressure precentile and plateau, AHI, leak rate over 95 L/min, compliance numbers, and a couple of other bits of information. The report can be saved in the .PDF format directly from the computer."

Great CPAP

"I've been using a RemStar Auto CPAP for three years and the Intellipap is definitely an upgrade. The machine is quiet and smaller than the RemStar and just seems to work better in terms of my therapy; I'm sleeping better.
The documentation is sparse and the configuration a bit odd, but with that done the machine has been a pleasure to use."

Very Quiet

"This machine works as advertised and is very quite. I have it on the lower shelf of a night stand and don't even hear it running. The Smartcodes also make it very easy to track how well you're doing especially when trying out new masks."

"I have used a Respironics Remstar Plus for years, and was advised by my doctor to try an auto adjust machine. He didn't recommend the Intellipap (don't think he knew about it), but I read about it at CPAP.com, and eventually bought it. Just as other users have said, it is a VERY quiet machine. After the first night, when I awoke to my own snoring (this hadn't happened with my old machine), I was concerned it might not have enough pressure or something. But after a phone consult with CPCP.com I adjusted the minimum and maximum a bit higher and it's been fine since. Since I hadn't realized the data recording feature was an additional item, I've had to order it separate, and haven't used it yet. I'm expecting the data may help me further refine my settings as needed. Assuming the machine holds up well, I'll be very happy with it."
