Adjusting the EPR settings allows the Easy-Breathe Technology to drop the pressure upon exhalation so that breathing feels more "natural". A pressure Ramp is also available and provides for a slow and comfortable increase to your pressure setting while falling asleep.

The S8 Escape II offers an improved motor that outputs only 25 decibels at 10cmH20 measured at one meter away. The S8 Generation One motors average 30 Decibels, making the new motors 60% quieter.

Fully customizable, the S8 Escape II has reminders for accessory replacements like your mask or machine filters. Take advantage of the remote downloading capabilities with the ResScan Data Card which provides usage data that helps you monitor compliance.

A ResMed DC-12 Converter For S8 Machines must be used with the 12 volt jack. Any other cable will likely cause a machine failure. You can find this item on our site.

Do not run this machine on a regular AC to DC inverter. A pure sine wave inverter must be used. We sell these on the website.

All S8 and S8 II CPAP Machines utilize a "Cool Down" feature that runs the CPAP Motor up to 1 hour after turning the machine off. The motor helps to cool off the humidifier plate. You may hear a "faint blowing sound" when you turn the machine off. However, you can unplug the power cord and allow the heater plate to cool without airflow.
