CPAP.com Comments
CPAP machines come with a six foot hose, a travel bag and manuals. Masks are not included and must be purchased separately. We will be happy to help you with sizing and offer suggestions on current popular masks.
A Resmed DC-12 Converter For S8 Machines must be used with the 12 volt jack. Any other cable will likely cause a machine failure. You can find this item on our site.
If using the S8 Escape and H3i together you must purchase a Pure Sine Wave Inverter in order to use DC power. Do not run this machine on a regular AC to DC inverter or you will chance ruining your cpap. We sell the Pure Sine Wave inverters on our website.
All S8 and S8 II CPAP Machines utilize a "Cool Down" feature that runs the CPAP Motor up to 1 hour after turning the machine off. The motor helps to cool off the humidifier plate. You may hear a "faint blowing sound" when you turn the machine off. However, you can unplug the power cord and allow the heater plate to cool without airflow.

"Opening the package I was a bit shocked to see just how small the S8 Escape is. Fairly light too. As my travel machine, this will make things easier through airports."

"The S8 Escape was purchased by myself to have as a second unit to have at my travel destination. I have been very happy with my original rental unit. By having a second unit, I hopefully can avoid a few less trips through airport security with the CPAP machine in tow. I definitely would recommend ResMed and cpap.com"

"I've had the machine for two weeks now and I am totally satisfied with it. The setup was very easy and it takes so little space. Very easy to pack and carry. The travel bag is roomy and allows you to include all your components. I have already taken it with me to a couple of trips. I also have a S7 Elite and I believe that the S8 is quieter. I am very happy with this purchase."
