Respironics has updated the SleepEasy CPAP machine to include C-Flex Technology and VIC reporting capabilities. The SleepEasy II is designed to be an affordable therapy device with all the benefits of enhanced features like built-in heated humidification and C-Flex.

A CPAP That Doesn't Look Like A CPAP

To help make therapy as natural as it can be, Respironics has designed the SleepEasy system to look more like a natural part of a bedroom and less like a medical device. They made it sleeker, smaller and less obtrusive and its new textured casing will blend into your home decor.

Built In Humidifier

Humidification is a feature that may reduce nasal dryness and irritation by adding moisture and heat to the airflow. The SleepEasy II system lets you use heated or pass-over humidification, right out of the box. Receive enhanced comfort with the push of a button.

Flex Family Technology

Flex Technology is designed to enhance traditional CPAP therapy; maintaining effective therapy at minimal pressures. Users new to CPAP equipment find the Flex feature provides airflow at just the right pressure relief for every breath and makes adapting to CPAP therapy easier.

C-Flex offers a comfortable way to deliver sleep therapy by giving pressure relief at exhalation. Pressure is lowered based on a breath-per-breath analysis and provides up to 3 levels of relief based on the patient's expiratory flow.

Visual Inspection Check (VIC)

Respironics has incorporated their new VIC feature that allows users to track hours of Use and total machine hours from the display. The SleepEasy II has an on-screen report and the proven call-in compliance reporting technology that eliminating unnecessary buttons that could confuse users. Type This identifies the machine as continuous, auto adjusting, or bilevel operation. This does not identify whether the machine automatically adjusts pressure. Spontaneous Spontaneous (S) mode tells the machine to start blowing at IPAP pressure with no specific interval set. The machine must wait and detect a break in the breathing cycle before reacting, switching from exhalation to inhalation. Timed Timed (T) or Spontaneous Timed (ST) modes provide a customizable backup rate that forces the machine to switch from exhalation to inhalation.
