Using a machine without humidification may dry out your airways causing pain and increased airway resistance as you breath. Heated humidifiers add moisture to your air intake, creating a more comfortable sleep experience.
Are you adding a humidifier to your CPAP machine? Add comfort to your night with a ComfortLine Heated Tubing Kit. The ComfortLine heated tube warms the air as it moves from the humidifier to your mask. When using a humidifier with a regular hose, the air can cool and release moisture as it travels through the tube. The ComfortLine Heated Tubing Kit comes with a heated hose with its own power cord and an easy to use power switch. The ComfortLine Heated Tubing is not recommended to be used without a humidifier.
Your humidifier will come with a chamber, but it is recommended that you buy a new chamber every six months. Chambers deteriorate over time and may become less sanitary due to rust, chemical decomposition and other issues.
Your new machine will come with standard six foot tubing, but longer or lighter tubing is available. Eight or ten foot tubing is great for restless sleepers and less likely to form kinks.
Reusable filters trap large floating particles such as cat hair and dander. They are the first line of air filtration defense for your CPAP system. Your machine will come with a reusable filter which should be washed regularly with warm water and replaced every three months.
Disposable filters trap small floating particles such as dust and dirt. They work in tandem with reusable filters to filter air for your CPAP system. Disposable filters can not be washed and should be replaced monthly or as dirt shows on the filter.
Curious to see how your therapy is stacking up? Sleep therapy software allows you to track your therapy effectiveness on a nightly basis.
Bacteria filters trap ultra fine floating particles. This filter is an additional layer of protection used primarily by CPAP users with allergies or those who need the utmost level of air filtration.
A bacteria filter will not install directly to the air outlet port on the IntelliPAP Heated Humidifier. The FlexiTube Angle Adapter allows you to use a Bacteria Filter with your IntelliPAP machine. The FlexiTube Angle Adapter is placed onto the air outlet of the machine. The bacteria filter is placed on other end of the FlexiTube. The CPAP hose fits into the other end of the bacteria filter.
Whether you are after comfort or efficiency, a SnuggleHose tubing wrap helps you achieve both. SnuggleHoses are made of warm, soft fleece and help to prevent rainout. Rainout is when condensation collects in the hose from the ambient air being cooler than the air in the hose.
Battery kits come with a rechargeable battery and everything you need to stay powered up. Battery kits are great for ensuring you get the therapy you need through power outages and when traveling or camping.
If you are worried about getting caught in your hose, you may consider a hose management system. These systems hold the slack from your hose above and away from your body as you sleep in place and away from your body.
Sleep therapy can be luxurious! Try an aromatherapy starter kit to see which scent is your favorite.
Tired of fighting with the direction of your CPAP tubing? Attach this elbow to the air outlet on most CPAP machines and angle your CPAP hose in better direction. A different angle may prevent the CAP hose from torsion and crinkling, while you sleep.
Want to keep your whole set up fresh? Wash the inside of your hose with the gentle bristles of the stainless steel Tube Brush to keep it clean week after week.
This 19mm Tube Brush is designed for use with standard diameter hoses.
