| Replaceable Cushion: These masks offer replaceable cushions, pillows, or prongs. These unique CPAP Masks offer replaceable cushions as a low cost solution to keep your mask feeling and working like new. | Yes |

| Small Face: This property identifies masks that are ideal for small facial features. Any mask with a size petite or extra small will be marked 'Yes'. Nasal Pillow masks are ideal because they accommodate the size of the 'nare' or nasal openings, not the face. | No |
| TV Friendly: TV Friendly CPAP masks have interfaces that avoid obstructing your vision so you can read or watch TV before going to bed. Any mask designed without a forehead piece will fall under this property. | No |
| Headgear Quick-Clips: Tired of adjusting your headgear every time you take your mask off during the night? Quick-Clips allow users to easily remove and replace the mask on your face without re-adjusting the headgear straps. | Yes |

| Claustrophobic: These masks have the least amount of material around the face, fewer headgear points, and offers more freedom when you sleep. Most Nasal Pillow and Nasal Prong masks are ideal for claustrophobic users. | No |
| Wide Face: The value will be marked 'Yes' for CPAP masks with interfaces that are unique to CPAP users with wide facial features. Masks with 'Wide' cushion sizes would fall under this category. Nasal pillow and prong masks are ideal for wide faces because the seal occurs around the nare, not the face. | No |
| Gel Cushion: These masks come with a silicone-based gel cushion. | No |
| Facial Hair: These CPAP masks have interfaces that accommodate a wide variety of facial hair styles. Gel cushions and foam inserts provide support and comfort for users who may need to over-tighten headgear straps to help seal around facial hair. Silicone gel also helps create a fluid seal over the hair. | No |

"This is one of the more stable headgears available. Unlike most headgears that Break easilym this one can be depended on. It it not necessarily the most comfortable, but it does function reliably, and does a realatively good job. There are occasional air leaks as is the case with all facemasks, but they do ship small medium and large cushions so that you can easily work with getting the proper fit for your face. The headgear is not as easily adjustable as some, and it is harder to take the headgear off and on than some masks, but all in all the headgear issues can be overcome in favor of masks material that does not break as easily as RESMED and other brands of masks I currently have sitting in my expensive Facemask Junk pile. All in all, this is a reliable good mask compared to most others on the market."
"Unusual cushion, with wider than usual contact surface. Cushion is also taller than most -- instead of the bottom edge resting below the lower lip, it has a pocket that your chin fits into. It comes with three cushion sizes. I had to use the largest cushion even though medium fits me in other masks.
It is pretty comfortable and doesn't leak much even though I have a full (but not long) beard. Major leaks are a LOT fewer than with the Ultra Mirage I have been using. The forehead rest is narrow so the mask doesn't get pushed off center when I lie on my side, and I think that accounts for much of the reduced leakage.
The forehead rest needs to be adjustable. Headgear is sturdy but has a small fragile-looking clip that is hard to use when putting the mask on and off -- definitely could be improved with minor effort by the manufacturer.
I am definitely sleeping better and dreaming more and feeling more rested. But my machine is reporting a higher apnea-hypopnea index than before, which is at odds with my perception that it works better. Can't explain that ... but given how much better it seals than the old mask, I'm going to bump up the pressure a bit and see what that does. Maybe my better sleep is simply because I don't get awakened so often by roaring leaks.
Overall, given the relatively low price of this mask, it is well worth the gamble for you to try it if you are unhappy with your current gear."
"I like the mask better than others I have tried, although it can press on the nose quite a bit. Needs to be kept clean to seat properly, sometimes it doesn't like my beard. Wish it had easier to use in the dark quick releases."
"This is my second HC431, the first one lasted 5 years until the headgear wore out. The price of replacement headgear was half the price of a new mask, so I ordered a whole new one as it came with all 3 sizes of gaskets. This turned out to be a great move, as the large size was a much better fit than the medium I had been given by the prescriber and solved some leakage issues. I am hard to fit as I am a mouth breather with a full beard who sleeps on my side, but this mask works perfectly for me - especially with the proper size insert!"
"Great FF. I'll keep this for when my nose is blocked. But can't hold a seal at 20/16. Nice thing is it comes with 3 different sizes standard - and the price is very reasonable. Build quality is pretty good - not as good as the Resmed Quattro FF - but it is only $90. So good price/performance. I personally thought it was better than the Quattro in terms of sealing and comfort."

Medicare allows for mask cushion replacement every three (3) months and complete mask system replacement every six (6) months. CPAP manufacturers and vendors suggest these replacement schedules as well.
In our experience, most mask cushions begin to deteriorate after about six months of use. The silicone eventually becomes too soft to hold a seal and headgear straps must be tightened more and more to get the same quality seal.
We strongly suggest replacing cushions and pillows as soon as they start to soften. Air leaks may reduce the effectiveness of CPAP therapy and headgear that is too tight may cause facial sores at pressure points. You can also replace the headgear of your mask if it is stretched out or the Velcro worn out.
To see what parts of your mask are replaceable refer to our Replacement Part Finder. Search for your mask and then see all of the replaceable parts.
Air leaking from the mask at the bridge of the nose and over the eyes during sleep will cause the eyes to dry out. The most common reason for air leaking at the nose bridge is that the mask is too big or too long for the nose.
We would suggest you resize your mask to be sure you have the best size. A mask that has an adjustment at the bridge may also be helpful in getting a good fit. Nasal pillow or nose cushion devices which do not rest on the nose are also an option.
It is not advisable to tighten the headgear to eliminate the air leak. Pressure from a mask that is too tight will cause bruises and even open sores if applied long enough.
Masks should be washed daily in warm water with baby shampoo and left to air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask. Avoid soaps with lotion or lanolin which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember to go to bed with a clean face, this will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning so that the oils from your skin are removed. We recommend using mask wipes to make daily morning cleanings easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.
Yes. Federal law requires we have a valid prescription on file before we ship your mask, machine and/or humidifier.
We provide many easy ways to get your prescription:
If your mouth drops open during sleep, a full face may be selected to allow for the CPAP airflow to be delivered through both the nose and mouth.
Some CPAP users move to using a full face mask after finding that using a nasal mask along with a chinstrap does not meet their sleep therapy needs. Some CPAP users use a full face mask when suffering from seasonal allergies.
All FlexiFit HC431 and HC432 cushions and mask frames are interchangeable. The silicone cushions are interchangeable, but the foams will not work with the 431.
