"Good product and a reasonable price. didn't like the front load nozzle at first because of the incessant rotation when I'd turn over. fixed the problem with a simple zip tie to keep it in the vertical position, much better for me as I have the hose draped directly over my head via a stand attached to the headboard, no more choking myself in the night with the hose."

Trying to find a ComfortGel Competitor
December 26, 2008
(1 out of 5) by Anita H, CA
"I bought three masks in an attempt to move away from the Respironics ComfortGel. I wanted to move to a different mask because I promised myself if the ball joint mechanism broke just one more time that I would never buy another ComgortGel. So the one more time happened and here we start:
**ComfortClassic Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear**
This mask is marketed by Respironics as the version of the mask sold prior to the ComfortGel. I used to used the mask just prior to the ComfortGel and this one is NOT that mask. This is a flimsy piece of plastic with some thin pieces of soft rubber serving as the padding. the seal would not hold for any pressure over 8cm. don't waste yur money.

Cheap, but good mask
December 24, 2008
(4 out of 5) by Kenneth D, Tallahassee, FL
"The Comfort Classic was the first mask that I was given when I got my CPAP. Since then I have pick up a Respironics "nasal pillow" style mask and hated it. Couldn't exhale as easily. I decided to upgrade to the ComfortSelect and found two things: 1) it wasn't more comfortable (to me) and 2) it was LOUD!
I went back to the Comfort Classic (which is quiter than the comfort select and am much happier).
I also purchased new gel spacers and headgear to have "spares" as I tend to think the mast is OK, just the accessories need to be changed out more often."

A Basic Mask for short term use
December 20, 2008
(2 out of 5) by Ken J, Rosharon, TX
"This mask is one I would recommend only for light use. I purchased it for travel as it is a bit smaller in bulk than many of the other masks made by resmed, and as a result is easy to put in your cpap travel bag. Very basic it offers a limited amount of padded comfort and useable head bands. For just a little more money you can move up to profile lite with gel for a great deal more comfort and typically a better fit with tighter seals and less air leaks."
