Nasal Aire II is Innomed's new interface device designed for CPAP users requiring positive ventilation therapy. Its sleek design allows the user freedom to speak, eat, drink, and wear eyeglasses without removing the device. When the device is worn by the CPAP user, the under nose reservoir is positioned across the person's upper lip with the nasal inserts positioned in the nares of the nose. The tubing drapes easily over the ears in the manner of standard nasal cannula, thus stabilizing the under nose reservoir with the "Y" coupling positioned in front, eliminating the need for uncomfortable straps and headgear.
Advantages:
-Can be worn for any duration without discomfort (no uncomfortable pressure points on face).
-User can sleep in any position.
-Virtually leak free. Does not chill the nose.
-Promotes unprecedented therapy effectiveness.
-Built-in swivel.
-Easy to assemble and clean.
-Includes a Nasal Aire II Sizing Star.
If you still aren’t convinced that this is the mask for you, all you need to do is buy our Return Insurance and you can send it back within 30 days for a refund of the full purchase price. Read all about it here:
Nasal Aire II is a new updated version of the original Nasal Aire. Significant changes include a softer nasal prong section, much quieter exhalation ports, and a redesigned prong shape with a reduced ridge. Comfort, seal and sound are all improved. The Nasal Aire II series has a new size, the Medium Plus, that fills the gap between the Medium and Large Sizes.
If you have been using the older Nasal Aire be aware that the sizes may not be equal. The medium, large and extra large Nasal Aire II prongs are somewhat larger than the original Nasal Aire. We do not accept the return of this item for any reason other than a manufacturing defect.
Please be aware that the Petite size comes in different packaging from other sizes. They come direct from Innomed this way.
"I have 2 problems with regular masks. The first is a mild claustrophobia, and the second is nose damage which makes breathing through my nose difficult. The nasal aire gets around both these problems. There is no mask as such, and the prongs mechanically open the nasal passages making breathing easier. I tend to sleep on my back, and do not toss and turn during the night, so have found that I don't need the head bands. The plastic hoses go hard quite quickly, and the mask needs replacing more regularly than traditional masks."

"I've been using the Nasal Aire II for several years. I especially like it because I can use it without headgear. I just use the strap between the tubes behind the ears and the bolo under the chin. My only complaint is that the tubes start losing flexibility after a couple of months, then end up totally stiff and you can't just replace the tubing without getting a whole new unit. I have never needed to replace any of the things which are available as replacement parts."

"wonderfu device allows me to use the CPAP all other headgear failed me.
I would love to be able to replace just the long tubes as they are the only parts that seem to age. I hate to throw out all the extra nose adaptors and velcro ties and the packaging
thanks for a great product."
