Not Good

"Let me strart by saying I was so excited to try this new mask. I was tired of having marks across my face in 2 places, around my nose and on my forehead. I wish I could have afforded to buy the return insurance so I could send this mask back and get the one I usually wear. I can not get the mask to seal on my nose. There is major leaking of air. I have tried 3 times now for about 30 mins. to get this mask to adjust and it will not work. I think the main problem is it won't spread wide enough so the nose piece will stay completely against my nose."

Uncomfortable and impossible to get a good seal

"I was excited when I saw this mask, because I've always disliked the mark that most other masks leave on my forehead. So I decided to give this one a try. Big mistake! I actually found the big pads on your cheeks that this mask features(used to keep the mask in place in lieu of the forehead strap) much more uncomfortable than the masks with the forehead piece. Even worse, I tried all three nose pieces (small, medium and large - all come with the mask) numerous times but I found it impossible to get a good seal.
Bottom line: This mask was not a good choice for me."

Best I've seen

"Although no CPAP mask is perfect, this is the best I've tried. I've previously used various nasal pillows and nasal masks. Of all of these, this mask is the least intrusive, leaves the fewest marks for the least time, leaks less, is the most comfortable and the quietest. Why Respironics has chosen to discontinue it I don't know. I have a narrow face and a small head. It took me a few nights to figure out how to adjust the straps to get the proper fit but it seems to be doing well now. My partner who also uses a cpap, comments on how quiet mine is. I realize the double hose helps with the dynamics of the mask but I don't like it as much as the single hose. Only today did I realize that the velcro strap (which I thought came with the pole I ordered) probably came with the mask and is used to bring the 2 hoses closer together up near the nose.
The trick for getting a good fit with this seems to be balancing the pressure of the strap on the top of the head that pulls the mask up against the nose and the side straps which pull it against the face. If you are a back sleeper, the adjustment is easy. I am more of a side sleeper which is why I needed the side straps tighter to avoid the leaking when I laid on my side. The nasal piece is very comfortable and small. I have only used this a week so these are my early observations. I have some concern about the durability of some of the connections but only time will tell.
I would highly recommend this and hope Respironics reconsiders eliminating this product. I would suggest that they modify the hose connection so that the double hose connects with a traditional attachment to a regular hose. Having a different kind of linkage is a pain."

"The Confort Curve is a nice change from the regular nasal pillows since it does not require something stuck up your nose. It is also much more confortable then a mask."

"Been using the ComfortCurve for a few years and couldn't be happier.I tried several other masks and nasal prongs prior to the ComfortCurve and was less than satisfied. Good seal,no marks on my face and no claustrophobic feelings."
