Best I've seen

"Although no CPAP mask is perfect, this is the best I've tried. I've previously used various nasal pillows and nasal masks. Of all of these, this mask is the least intrusive, leaves the fewest marks for the least time, leaks less, is the most comfortable and the quietest. Why Respironics has chosen to discontinue it I don't know. I have a narrow face and a small head. It took me a few nights to figure out how to adjust the straps to get the proper fit but it seems to be doing well now. My partner who also uses a cpap, comments on how quiet mine is. I realize the double hose helps with the dynamics of the mask but I don't like it as much as the single hose. Only today did I realize that the velcro strap (which I thought came with the pole I ordered) probably came with the mask and is used to bring the 2 hoses closer together up near the nose.
The trick for getting a good fit with this seems to be balancing the pressure of the strap on the top of the head that pulls the mask up against the nose and the side straps which pull it against the face. If you are a back sleeper, the adjustment is easy. I am more of a side sleeper which is why I needed the side straps tighter to avoid the leaking when I laid on my side. The nasal piece is very comfortable and small. I have only used this a week so these are my early observations. I have some concern about the durability of some of the connections but only time will tell.
I would highly recommend this and hope Respironics reconsiders eliminating this product. I would suggest that they modify the hose connection so that the double hose connects with a traditional attachment to a regular hose. Having a different kind of linkage is a pain."

"The Confort Curve is a nice change from the regular nasal pillows since it does not require something stuck up your nose. It is also much more confortable then a mask."

"Been using the ComfortCurve for a few years and couldn't be happier.I tried several other masks and nasal prongs prior to the ComfortCurve and was less than satisfied. Good seal,no marks on my face and no claustrophobic feelings."

A great mask compared to a conventional face mask

"I greatly prefer this mask to my previous Profile Lite.
The Profile Lite restricted my view (so it was rather claustrophobic) and the gel pads absorbed oil from my skin. After a while, the old Profile Lite stopped fitting my face. I also found that I suffered from ingrowing hairs and I had to be clean-shaven before wearing it.
The ComfortCurve is completely different. It's light weight, and feels much less intrusive. I tried the foam pads, and didn't like them, but the silicone pads last for a year, and still clean up nicely.
It is important to find a good position for the light-weight hose, or the mask will leak. I found that joining the supplied hose on to the end of my existing hose [don't forget to order a hose connector], means I can run the hose from the nightstand, under the pillow, and down the middle of the bed. The hose connector is at about shoulder level. There is then enough light-weight hose, to allow free movement.
Before having CPAP treatment, I was experiencing 86 events per hour. With this mask, I can sleep all night with zero events.
My consultant was very dismissive of this type of mask, but I went out on a limb and purchased one. For my shape of face, it's a great solution."

"I've tried a number of different masks over the years and this one is by far the most comfortable."
