One of the first nasal pillow devices, the Breeze
continues to be very popular with side and stomach
sleepers. It really is a Breeze to fit and wear!
No straps against the cheeks means any size or shape face will fit easily and comfortably - without red marks the next morning.
Seven sizes of nasal pillows are available, as well as
three cushion sizes of the Dreamseal Attachment (sold separately).
Several easy adjustments make the Breeze comfortable for almost anyone:
The nasal shell can be adjusted to hold the pillows at any angle against the nose.
The hose guide has been redesigned and a new
material makes it even more durable.
A new clip on the hose guide allows the angle of the halo straps to be modified for more stability.
Nasal pillows or the DreamSeal nasal cushion are
interchangeable on the same headgear.
We offer the Breeze at a package price with one, two or three different sizes of nasal pillows. Puritan Bennett also provides a Sizing Star to help determine which pillow size is right for you.
The low price and variety of adjustments and sizes
makes this a product we can easily recommend.
These masks offer replaceable cushions, pillows, or prongs. These unique CPAP Masks offer replaceable cushions as a low cost solution to keep your mask feeling and working like new.
Tired of adjusting your headgear every time you take your mask off during the night? Quick-Clips allow users to easily remove and replace the mask on your face without re-adjusting the headgear straps.
Some masks come with a forehead support as part of the mask design. Masks marked "yes" contain a forehead support, while masks marked "no" do not contain a forehead support.
This describes the type of mask cushion for the mask. These values are either cloth, foam, gel, or silicone. The foam and gel are usually both silicone based materials. The masks that are marked as "silicone" are without gel or foam.
Indicates which masks come packaged with more than one cushion, pillow or prong. Masks can come packaged with ALL Sizes or a combination of sizes as a Fit Pack. This is ideal for users who have not tried the mask before and do not know the right size to select.
This property identifies masks that are ideal for small facial features. Any mask with a size petite or extra small will be marked 'Yes'. Nasal Pillow masks are ideal because they accommodate the size of the 'nare' or nasal openings, not the face.
The value will be marked 'Yes' for CPAP masks with interfaces that are unique to CPAP users with wide facial features. Masks with 'Wide' cushion sizes would fall under this category. Nasal pillow and prong masks are ideal for wide faces because the seal occurs around the nare, not the face.
Do you move around a lot when you sleep? These masks are ideal for users who either sleep on their side or stomach or restless sleepers who toss and turn. There are a few specialized cushions that address this issue as well as most Nasal Pillow and Prong CPAP masks.
These masks are designed to prevent mouth leaks. If you are opening your mouth during the night, airflow escapes and reduces therapy effectiveness. Users who are experiencing a dry mouth, sore throat, or sinus congestion may require a mask that seals around the mouth.
TV Friendly CPAP masks have interfaces that avoid obstructing your vision so you can read or watch TV before going to bed. Any mask designed without a forehead piece will fall under this property.
These masks have the least amount of material around the face, fewer headgear points, and offers more freedom when you sleep. Most Nasal Pillow and Nasal Prong masks are ideal for claustrophobic users.
These CPAP masks have interfaces that accommodate a wide variety of facial hair styles. Gel cushions and foam inserts provide support and comfort for users who may need to over-tighten headgear straps to help seal around facial hair. Silicone gel also helps create a fluid seal over the hair.

Important Tips
All Breeze Pillows are interchangeable with the Breeze pillow frame.
All parts of the "old" and "new" Breeze versions are compatible with each other. The shell and pillows are unchanged. The newer version Breeze has a more durable hose guide with adjustable halo strap anchor positions. The foam inside the head cradle is thicker. The new tubing has a swivel/hose connector on the CPAP hose end.
"I just switched to the nasal pillow system from a comfort gel nasal mask that I've used for a long time. I've used this model for about a week. The nasal pillow's contact with the face is far less, which means no marks where I can see them. The head piece is surprising comfortable. No problem sleeping on either side. I can feel the back plate of the head piece against my bed pillow when I lay on my back, but it fits well and is not thick enough to bother me. I am using the side straps and the unit has not come off in my sleep. My concern for the long term is whether it will rub or pluck hair from my head, but there's no sign of that so far. My nose looks a little wider when I wake up - as if I'd been wearing a breath-rite strip. In the morning my nose is greasy because the bridge of the head piece prevents natural face oils from rubbing off onto the sheets or pillows. OK, that may be too much information for some of you, but I'm thinking those same oils used to be trapped in the mask. Cleaning is easy. It's quiet, but the air stream shoots straight out instead of down. I bought the return insurance, but I think this one's a keeper."

Right idea, wrong execution...
Anonymous – October 03, 2008
"They had the right idea, but they used the wrong materials. The large plastic piece that holds the nasal pillows is very heavy. As a result, it will rest all of its weight on the wall between your nostrils for side sleepers. It hurts a whole lot in the morning. The nasal pillows are also significantly less comfortable than the Opus and Optilife pillows. They use a more rigid material with a shape that goes deeper into the nostril and feels uncomfortable. If you are thinking of going from a light weight Opus or Optilife, keep in mind that this is a heavy plastic contraption that uses your nose as an anchor point. There is no arrangement of straps or adjustments that will relieve the pressure it puts on your nose. Good luck!"
"I would send it back if it weren't for the hassell"
Breeze SleepGear
Estelle S, FL – April 19, 2013
"I enjoyed using this mask and the best part was that it doesn't mark my face. But the fit of the hose and straps were not secure and seemed too large for my face. They should make it even more adjustable or make a second choice for smaller faces. Otherwise it's a very good mask."
Betty S, GA – February 28, 2013
"Headgear slips often even with straps. Hard plastic on head piece makes it uncomfortable to sleep on back."

Product Challenge 7
The Swift LT challenged the Breeze Sleepgear and won with a score of 36 to 14.
What Participants liked about the Breeze Sleepgear: “Sleeping with the Breeze mask and headgear was lovely. No buckles pressing into my skull, I could practically sleep on my face and as a former stomach sleeper it was nice to be able to go back to my old comfortable position.” – Cathy G.
Many participants enjoyed the openness of the Breeze mask
Many participants will continue to use the Breeze as an alternative
What Participants want improved about this mask: “The shell, that holds that nasal pillows, is not at the same angle or position that my nostrils are and it is not adjustable. I could get my left nostril positioned into the pillow but the right one would not line up properly.” – Bridget M.
Some participants experienced difficulty assembling and reassembling this mask for cleaning
As a heavier mask some reported the Breeze shifts around at night
Difficult to seal for some participants who are side sleepers
