Key Product Information

    Manufacturer: Respironics

The ComfortFull full face mask has always been popular for those who breathe through their mouths or those with mustaches. Now the Comfort Full 2 improves on many aspects of the earlier model, especially the design of the cushion and forehead assembly. As a result, it provides a better seal and even greater comfort. Here are some of the improvements:

    • Cushion surface is “polished” to better adhere to the skin and be less likely to leak.
    • Cushion and frame are one piece for an overall lighter mask weight and easier cleaning.
    • Forehead assembly has been redesigned for easier adjustment and forehead pad is a single broad cushion instead of two. Both offer a more secure and stable fit.
    • Entrainment valve opens if pressure drops to 3cm or lower to allow breathing of room air.
    • Swivel assembly moves much more freely than the earlier model.
    • Quick release is easier with ball and socket headgear clips and a built-in hose release.

ComfortFull 2 Full Face Mask   July 01, 2008

(3 out of 5) by Peggy

"With as thick as the cushion appeared to be on this mask, I had hoped it would be comfortable, that it wouldn't have to be cinched as tightly as other masks. Unfortunately that was not the case. I still have a red mark on my nose, though not as sore as with other masks, and the inside harder portion of the cushion digs into my bottom lip area. The mask also doesn't maintain a very good seal, despite what I had hoped would be a promising cushion design. However, I do like the fact that the exhaust is lower and doesn't blow air into my eyes. That is a design element I would like to see other companies duplicate."

Best mask so far   June 24, 2008

(4 out of 5) by Annoymous User

"This was my fourth mask in 2 months. The first two only covered my nose, and we soon found out that I breathe out of my mouth. I opted for the full face mask with the nasal pillows due to my nose being very sensitive ever since I had broke it and had to have surgery. That mask leaked like crazy. I chose this mask mainly because of the price and it works great. It leaks a little around the mouth and hurts a lot at the bridge of my nose. I bought gauze pads and put them in the mask at the bridge of my nose and at the two points of leakage, and I have been sleeping great. I love the mask, but I wish they would make them so they wouldn't hurt."

"Mask seems OK. It just that my wife says I am not sleeping as soundly with it, as I do with a nasal mask! Go figure."

Not happy with the mask   June 12, 2008

(1 out of 5) by Richard L, Redondo Beach, CA

"It's like trying to sleep in a wind tunnel. More air comes out from the front of the mask leaving little pressure for what it is used for.
Out if the four masks I have used it is by for the worst designed one I have used."
