"The humidifier is small and easily goes into the unit. It ia also easy to clean. The only improvement is the opening is small which requires you to use a small funnel or to take the plastic cover off to fill the reservoir. A small adaptor would be nice."

"When I first bought the Everest 2 I was having alot of problems to tell you the truth. I found this small unit to be very loud and the noise would supress when I would wear the mask, or so I thought. I would take it off in the middle of the night and I was not quiet sure why. I was not sure if it was the noise, the dryness in the back of my throat, or the ill fitting of the mask I did on myself. Probably, a good combination of all of them.

Well last night, I used the heated humidifier for the Everest 2 for the first time. All I can say is WOW!!!!! For the first time sinse I bought the Everest 2 I actually used it ALL NIGHT! I recorded my first 4 hour session on the Everest 2, MY FIRST. The only reason it was not an 8 hour session was because I took the mask off and turned off the Everest to get a drink of water and take a mid-night pee. I got back into bed turned on the Everest and went back to bed.

First thing I noticed was it was like putting a silencer on a gun. It became VERY QUIET! I put it on and it was almost silent!!!! Next thing I noticed was the air from the Everest was not drying me out, no sore throat feeling. It almost felt like it was keeping the back of my throat and nasal passages moistureized. I am still in shock that since the 2 weeks since I have owned the Everest, I finally made it thru my first complete night. The heated humidifier made a BIG difference!!! Save yourself some time and buy it when you buy the Everest 2. Don't struggle with your cpap, buy the heated humidifer with your cpap. It will make a world of difference!!!!"
