This is MY MASK: AMEN

"I have been looking for soooo long for the best mask for me. My sinuses have too strong a reaction to incoming air with all other masks. With the V2 I do not feel it at all. I am not a mouth breather, but a lip flutterer. Masks that end under the lips, bother my jaw. Chin straps just don't do it for me.
A full face mask that: *defuses the incoming air * is quiet *that goes under the chin... is what I needed and the Hans Rudolph V2 does it all beautifully.
So many seem to have a problem with it. For me, a careful reading of the fitting instructions was mandatory (as it should be for any mask) I had to work at it for a short period until the right configuration was found.
I Love My Hans Rudolph V2... This is my second one."

HANS Mask!

"I've been using CPAP for far too long, but I use it to live. Over the years, I have "dreamed" of a mask like this one. It is in no way "fragile" like the others, and seems to be durable beyond comparison. ALAS, like the other comments I read prior to purchase, the unit indeed has issues with achieving or maintaining the "seal" (upon movement). I have not gotten a complete nights sleep in the week I have had the unit. And no matter how much I adjust the straps (speaking of which, the plastic grips are giving out already, releasing several times last night), the air begins to escape, lowering pressure, and waking me.
I think the principles applied in developing this mask makes it superior to any I've owned. Alas, the lack of "seal" will doom it for people who's life depends on CPAP. IF they can somehow fix the "seal" issue, the price would not keep the product from becoming the best mask on the market, and one you would not have to replace EVERY six months (with the financial savings from that alone making the price worthful).
Because I did not buy the "insurance," I am stuck with this mask, and forced to find a way to "fix" the seal for my use, or simply lose the money and buy another mask. I still don't think the $34 (insurance for return) is worth it, considering the price of the mask (believing there should be a "right" to return something that cost so much).
Nevertheless, unless you KNOW the mask will seal on your face, either buy the "send back" insurance, or don't purchase the mask. NOT until they develop a sure way to maintain the masks seal."

Hans Rudolph 7600 Deried V2 Full Faxe CPAP Mask

"I was very disappointed with this mask I was looking forward to having one that fitted under the chin, however, one has to have it very tight so that it doesn't leak and this makes it so uncomofortable. Also by having it this tight it marks the face. This mask is very expensive and I am personally unable to use it.
I think that the mask should have a cushioning gel in the area that fits onto the face which would make it a lot more easy to get an appropriate fit and not mark the face."

Still Hurts

"This mask still hurts, just like the older version. Also, it is almost impossible to suppress the leaks at the nasal area.
It definitely runs large. I usually wear a small and ordered the extra small. It is possible that I need a petite.
I should mention to be fair that I have a pressure of 20."
