The Sandman Therapy Software enables Sandman CPAP users to monitor therapy effectiveness from the machine. The software can output data in the form of a simple report or store results for later analysis. Once the CPAP has been operating for at least 5 minutes, pressure data is stored in the device up to 145 "on-off" sessions or copied over to the memory card.

Use the software to send reports via email or export data to a spreadsheet for analysis.

Version 1.2 is compatible with:

SandMan Intro
SandMan Info
SandMan Auto

The USB Memory Card Reader (sold separately or as a bundle) will only work with the Sandman CPAP Memory Card that comes standard with All Sandman Machines or sold separately.

"I'm very pleased with the Sandman Software 1.1. It provides a comprehensive set of data and graphs which rival those provided by Respironics Encore software. These do take a little time to learn to interpret since they are designed for clinician and sleep lab use but it's well worth making that effort.

When data is extracted from the Sandman Auto and uploaded to my computer, a PDF report is created. Then I can optionally save the data to an Excel spreadsheet for further manipulation if desired."

"I liked my previous software ResScan 3.5 but the Sandman therapy software is much better as it gives you very important information that is lacking on the ResScan 3.5.

The Sandman therapy software gives you the following:
AI -obs
HI -obs
CA ( apnea with cardiac oscillations)
CNT (central hypopneas)
Runs
snores
cycling

There are 9 pages of reports or graphs downloadable by PDF or send to excel.

I am very happy with this software, as it revealed to me what I had already expected but had no proof of. I have been getting worse over 4 months and couldn't eliminate apnea/hypopnias on any pressure tried. Now I understand why. I can bring reports of past week to the sleep doctor on the 17th so he can see for himself.

If I hadn't bought this software I probably wouldn't have known about the apneas with cardiac oscillations or the central hypopneas until sometime early spring.

Thank you Puritan Bennett for making such good software.

I highly recommend everyone who doesn't have software that shows centrals, central apnea, cardiac oscillations, central hypopneas, etc., to invest in a machine and software that will reveal these important things.

I have read in numerous articles put out by medical journals that centrals shouldn't be treated with a cpap, apap, or bpap but need a svpap ventilator.

How will you know you are having any type of centrals if you don't have the right software? Even if it means you have to go to a machine that has software to reveal them, what price for your life or health?

Sorry Resmed, your software doesn't reveal any type of centrals, but should. Please rectify this as soon as possible. Otherwise, resmed is good.
