"The humidifier for the behemoth Malibu works well and provides comfortable warm moist air thru the night. The same cannot be said for the new H-4i that fits on the Resmed S8 pumps. I have had two fail in less than two months. The unit will "warmup" ,run for about two hours, then fail in the wee small hours of the morning, while the whole wide world is fast asleep. Totally useless unless you are lucky enough to wake up and set up the trusty Hc-150 from Fisher-Paykel. I cannot in good faith recommend the H-2i as it has only been used twice. My original H-4i went well for three weeks before dying. Maybe Resmed just does not have the bugs worked out of these attached units.ADVICE: buy the Hc-150 and sleep well."

"My husband uses this humidifier with his ResMed V Pap machine. However, after 4 years of nightly use, it no longer heats effectively so we ordered a replacement. The replacement works perfectly. We like that it is compact and integrated with the VPap. My husband has complex sleep apnea (central and obstructive) and after a second set of sleep studies he was prescribed the
ResMed Adapt SV to address these problems. The Humidaire 2i also fits the Adapt SV and we are looking forward to several more years of trouble free use."
