"Thank you for your prompt shippingof the product ordered. Your service is excellent. I would like to recommend that the manufactor go back to making the power cord with the colaspable plug, this is a machine I use for travel and the purpose is to pack compactly and ths new power cord does not meet this purpose. I like the orginal power cord."

"Replaces lost or worn original equipment. May not have the longevity of the original but that is only speculation on my part."

"Bad designed, fragile. Its poor construction force you to consider having a second one."

Power Cord Over Time

"The power cord that often used to come with the 420 is corrugated where the cord meets the machine to allow flexibility. The cord will (after a few years) crack along the corrugation. This new cord is not corrugated."

Not sturdy enough

"The power supply looks well-designed at first, and the offset mounting of the plug tabs for the "wall wart" means that it takes up less space on a surge protector or wall receptacle. However, those tabs are simply making friction contact with the circuit board inside. If you accidentally bend it (as my husband did), the tabs fall out. I pried the case apart, and a lot of repeated effort got it back together and working long enough to wait for the replacement to arrive, but this design should be changed to make the power unit more solid."
