"I just recieved and installed the 8 foot hose for my CPAP. The reason I got the longer hose is so that I could use it with my new "Hose Buddy" and have a bit extra wiggle room. Everything works together very nicely."

"The 8-foot CPAP hose I purchased seems fine, and the extra length is necessary with my new Opus nose pillow, with its over-the-head (rather than off-the-side) airtube design.
My only worry is that both ends of the hose are smaller than the end pieces of the 6-foot hose I was using. They fit on the CPAP machine and the nose pillow airtube, but it's a tighter fit than I'm used to, and I worry a little that they may wear out, as I remove the hose frequently for cleaning."

"I was not aware that there were different lengths of hoses. The 8-foot hose I purchased, makes for a more comfortable sleep, and allows side movement and all without the short tether of the original 6-footer.
I would recommend that everyone experiment with a longer hose, simply because the ease of use will incline a person to use the machine more, even at siesta time in the afternoon.
CPAP sent the goods in a timely manner; I am sure to do business with them for ALL of my future CPAP needs"
