"Purchased the BreatheX Journey for a trip to Canada where I would be staying in a cabin that had electricity only from 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Purchased an extra battery just in case it took longer to recharge than I had hoped. The CPAP worked fine AFTER discharging and recharging EACH battery fully. After the initial discharge/recharge, each daily recharge cycle took only 3 - 4 hours after 8+ hours use. Since I would be away from camp each day out fishing and not certain how the battery would be affected by continuing to charge after the "green light" came on, I used a timer that automatically shut off the charger after 3 hours and "topped off" the charge after returning each evening. Never needed the second battery. Before leaving on the trip, I had tested the pressure using a CPAP manometer and it tested a true "8" as set by the vendor per my prescription. The machine worked while sitting on any side (top up, bottom up, either side up) with no fluctuation in pressure. Fits easily in my backpack for travel as a carry-on on airlines. Only drawback is not being able to use the machine while on recharge. Separate charger for charging extra battery at night while using the BreatheX Journey unit to accomodate day travel would be nice. However, I would purchase another Journey CPAP if I ever need an additional unit."
