"I used this product before and deciced to try a different one, but came back to this headgear. Very comfortable, good seal, but foam will probably need to be replaced in about three months."

Quite satisfied

"Recently I switched to an auto cpap. Also I had been using a Resmed full face mask for several years. In addition I recently lost weight especially noticable in face. With my regular cpap the Resmed full face mask leaked air excessively unless tightening the straps to the point of causing severe crease marks on my cheeks and upper nose areas. With the increasing pressure of the auto cpap the Resmed full face mask air-leak was awful no matter how tight the straps were. However, using the auto cpap with the FlexiFit HC432 Full Face Mask is very comfortable, has minimal if any air leaking and does not require such strap tightening. I am now a happy sleeper once again. Thank you FlexiFit!"

At last...

"Very very happy with this mask - fits well the contour of my face, holds my lower jaw up, and my nose bridge is healing from the previous masks.
I tried the mirage Quattro, but it wasn't a good fit, therefore leaked quite a bit...CPAP.com insurance came in handy.
Two things to watch out for:
- Make sure you get the correct mask size - this site's mask measuring tool recommended medium, but I knew that I would need a large, based on a previous F&P mask.
- Because of the dual cushion, you have to make sure you push each part all the way down into their grooves (takes a little while to get into the habit)
One thing F&P could work on:
- They changed their mask sizing scheme, so that their old "small" size is now called "medium" ... I think this causes a lot of grief and confusion when reordering mask parts (had to deal with that with the last mask). THey should also put out a printable template on their website to ensure the customer is getting the right mask size.
A."

Beware changing from HC431 to HC432
May 30, 2008

"Just a note to warn those who have been using the Fisher&Paykel FlexiFit HC431 full face mask, and who may be thinking of switching to the FlexiFit HC432 full face mask: Despite their similar appearances, these masks are different and also fit very differently. I had been advised that a "small" HC431 was equivalent to a "medium" HC432, but the HC432 was not as long or deep as the HC431, and the grey foam insert on the HC432 ended up putting a lot of pressure on the bridge of my nose to the point where I can't use it any more. I also found the HC432 did not go "under" my chin as far as the HC431 did, so it was more prone to leaks. I'm sure it is different for everyone, but the transition was not as simple as some homecare advisors led me to believe."

"Was described as a fix for sore pressure spots developed with previous full face mask. Put it on when received and could tell instantly that the same sore areas were being affected by the flexifit mask. Did not purchase the return insurance so am now stuck with the new mask."
