The SleePAP Pillow is designed for CPAP and BIPAP users to help prevent problems that occur with standard pillows. Stomach, face and side sleepers can use the SleePAP Pillow to position the CPAP mask and tubing. The pillow helps with the following:
Prevents red marks and pressure sores
Improves therapy effectiveness
Prevents mask leakage
Cut-outs on either side of the SleePAP pillow help prevent the obstruction of mask exhalation ports, which could lead to the build-up of carbon dioxide. The pillow cut-outs also allow for multiple sleep positions. CPAP Users can sleep on either side with their CPAP mask unobstructed.

"At first sight, and feeling the weight, it appears you may not sleep any better, but all I can say is WOW! what a difference. I move alot in my sleep, and always end up with the mask in the cutout, no longer having the mask pushed off my face has made for a way better nights sleep. Thanks for a great product!"

"This pillow was detrimental to my husband sleeping well wearing a cpap mask. We take it when traveling too."

"Ok first the good thought. The design of the pillow is right on there is a cutout so the mask does not push against your face while you sleep. How ever you must place your.face on it just so. To far back and the mask is on the pillow to far front and it feels like your heads is slipping of the pillow. In my opinion the pillow is hard to the point my neck is stiff in the morning. The pillow case is a bonus most of the time its sold separately. My opinion for the money it cost shop around there's got to be better ones out there for sale."

"I find that with this pillow I have more leakage. Maybe I just need to get used to it more, but I have reverted to my tempurpedic pillow and have a lot less leakage."
Terrible pillow
paul s, TX – November 13, 2011
"I should have known, never buy a Internet product that you can't return. I'm short, built like a fireplug. This pillow raises my head to the point of closing off my airway. It's stuffed to full, very hard, no give. Also if you look at the ad pictures, the model is at the edge of the bed and the very edge of the pillow so the mask is not dislodged. The curves of the pillow in no way helps your mask stay in place. In fact, this pillow pushes my mask off my face better than my regular pillow. This pillow is all hype and does nothing that the makes claim. However, some people swear by it and I believed them, but for a short guy with very little neck, it doesn't work at all. It's now taking up space on my floor."
I sleep on my side or stomach, what are my options?
Sleeping on your side or stomach is preferable to sleeping on your back because sleeping on your back worsens all forms of sleep-disordered breathing. However, sleeping on your side or stomach can present problems to CPAP therapy. Both positions can put pressure on one side of your mask increasing your leak rate. Your options are to (1) try a mask that other side sleepers like (2) try bed pillows made for CPAP users.
Masks: We have found some masks allow for movement in sleeping position better than others. See our recommended masks for Active or Side/Stomach Sleepers.
Special CPAP Pillows: Regular bed pillows can put pressure against the mask and cause leaks. CPAP pillows are made with CPAP users in mind. These special pillows are designed to minimize the contact of the CPAP mask with the pillow, even when you are sleeping on your side.
