"The design of this head gear overall is great, it is my gear of choice and comfort BUT...the rubber-like pads on the head cradle last about two months then start to stretch out, come apart and the adhesive gets exposed. Puritan Bennet does not sell these pads separate and you need to shell out the money for a full replacement cradle piece. not good."

"I find the Breeze the most comfortable nose interface for me. I have a box-full of perfectly good ones except the top padding eventually loses its adhesive and slips off. I wish they just sold replacement rubber paddings for $2. With this assembly, I can save a few dollars and buy about 70% of the entire headgear, but it still seeem that I am forced to repurchase more than I need."

breeze headgear

"I have been using the breeze assembly with nasel mask for over 7 years. I am a side sleeper and stomach sleeper and it works very well with few air leaks. Many times I have to reach up and touch it to make sure I really have it on. I feel the breeze is the main reason I have no trouble being compliant in my cpap use. I also like the fact I have no strap marks on my face the next morning. I would like to try nasal pillows but hesitate to spend the money when the mask works so well for me."

"I've been using a CPAP machine for over ten years now, and most of that time I've used the Breeze sleepgear with nasal pillows. I started out with several of the masks, but saw a dramatic improvement in comfort and fit with the nasal pillows. I've been using this so long I just take it for granted.
These have been very durable - I could go years on the same headgear, and only lately have had to replace them more frequently, and that only because I've been travelling a lot in the past year and have broken a couple of pieces. I'm glad that the separate parts are available without buying a whole new headgear.
In general, the Breeze is light, usually a good seal, works well in all sleeping positions (I'm a back and side sleeper, move around a good bit at night), and fairly quiet. The straps are easy to adjust, and once set, it slips on without any daily adjustment needed. Cons: my wife doesn't like the air blowing on her when I face her way, so I wish the venting were a different design.
I've looked online at alternatives, especially the Opus 360 and the AEIOMed Headrest but so far haven't found a compelling reason to switch. It seems that every design works for some and not so well for others, and that nothing is the perfect solution (which would be nothing at all!)."
