Love the Aclaim II

"I have been using the Fisher & Paykel Aclaim 2 CPAP mask now for years. I have tried other brands, models and styles, and this has been the most effective for me. I have less problem with leakage with the Acclaim 2 than with any other mask, and I have been able to adjust the headgear straps to eliminate all leakage. I especially like the fact that the hose comes back and up over my head rather than down across my chest. I move from my back to my side from time to time, and this makes it much easier to sleep on my side."

"I have had sleep apneia for years, I have used alot of masks alot more exspensive then this one. This is by far one of the best most comfortable masks I have had. I have 1 complaint wish the hose was nose attached and swilveled it gets a bit to tugging if you move around alot but it is so comfortable and does not slip or leak plus had extra filters and a spare face plate nice product."

"This is my 4th mask. Finally a mask that doesn't leak, isn't too tight to leave marks, and is comforatable for someone that sleeps on his side."

Aclaim 2 Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear
August 25, 2009
(5 out of 5) by Robert G, VA
"I have just switched from a CPAP to an auto adjusting BiBAP. The changing air presssure can cause a pulsing effect on the nasal mask nosepiece and the headgear's straps which can make it difficult to sleep. I had several older nasal masks and a nasal pillow mask that worked to an acceptable or better degree with the old lower pressure CPAP that just didn't work with the new BiPAP. The Aclain 2 Nasal mask is a very light-weight, low profile mask that has a sliding connection for the bottom straps of the headgear that also allows the straps to remain set once you have found the most effective and comfortable setting. The flap and cushion nose piece combine to provide enough structure yet enough flexibility to mostly remain in place with minimal leakage throughout most nights of sleep even though I tend to move a lot. The top strap of the headgear is not intrusive and keeps the headgear and mask from sliding down during active sleep. This is the ONLY mask that has allowed me to get a full night of pretty good sleep in three weeks with my new BiPAP out of the 3 old and 3 new masks I have tried so far. I did slightly modify the forhead piece and the inner foam cushion in the nose piece to suits me better, but I consider alterability a plus. Overall, I would actually rate this mask as a 4.6 level, not perfect, but simple, functional, and alterable for my specific needs."
