"As all users of this know, the spacers will split and become useless. This is the replacement spacer kit. You get two of them. A small one and a large one. If you use the large one, you can turn the small one upside down and install it that way, which will extend it a bit and you can get use out of both of them.

The other thing to know is that a properly adjusted mask will eliminate the need for one of these, I have been sleeping without one for about a week now, and I have no need of it."

"I really like the gel style spacers on my Comfort Classic mask. The only issue is I travel a lot and have had two of them rupture in a short amount of time. When that happens you end up with a sticky goo coming out from the split. In a pinch using fiber from a cotton ball will make do until you can get a replacement.

It may be that the change in air pressure that is causing the issue or it could be from abrasion during packing and unpacking my CPAP 3-4 times a week. I'm going to try removing the gel pad from my mask and storing it in my carry on bag when not in use to see if that lengthens the lifespan of them."
