"Excellent product! Simple to use via usb port on the front of computer, works just as described! Also shipping from cpap.com was FAST as usual, chose Priority Mail and had it in two days! Been doing business with cpap.com for a long, long time and have never been disappointed!"

"Card reader only "reads" the names of files that are on the SD card; you have to have the machine software to open the files. So, the card reader is pretty much useless."

Read your own CPAP data

Java Time, Rainy Washington – November 22, 2011

"This works as advertised allowing me to read my CPAP SD card data.

I use this SD card data with the free open source CPAP software SleepyHead for my PRS1 machine (you can also purchase Encore on this website for PRS1).

The ability to see my daily and monthly progress helps me know my therapy is working and my mask is not leaking too much.

Some people are afraid that "reading" the data off of their SD card will erase the data from the card. This is NOT true. You are only reading the data and the data will still be on the card when your doctor wants to look at it. If you are really concerned, just wait until after your initial CPAP "30 day" checkup, your insurance is satisfied you are using the machine enough to pay for it, and the doctor and DME are no longer as concerned about your SD data."
