headgear
Barbara D. – May 20, 2007
"The first piece arrived promptly, but without the hooks or instructions,,Your office quickly sent me another piece of equipment with all the parts required.
Unfortunately the new headgear is worse than the single string that came originally. It does not hold the nasal piece in place--it swivels much more easily- and it leave horrendous face marks and gouges. Making it as firm as I can to hold the nasal piece so it doesn't leak with every shift, makes the nose completely distended, and still doesn't "Hold" in place, for any kind of decent sleeping experience. I have been using the 481 for several months, and wrestling with it nightly. The new headgear elevates the situation to nightmare status. For anykind of decent sleep, I have added moleskin pads to the plastic single string and tied a bit of sewing elastic to the string to make a stableizing cradle. I guess that will be as good as this mask can be for me."
Infinity CPAP Mask Headgear
Tom G. – November 19, 2006
"If you bought the Infinity nasal mask. Do yourself a big favor buy the upgraded headgear it is a 100% improvement. The one it came with is like a plastic string. It leaves marks on your face. And it does not get a good seal. You are alway adjusting it. After buying the upgade the Infinity is a very fine mask. For people that like to watch TV while falling asleep and people that sleep on there side, especially if you toss and turn alot."
