"New" Style Hybrid headgear

"I asked for, and received the very latest style Hybrid
headgear, not the "Old Style" as the heading suggests.
I have used the Hybrid since July 2006. This review will
cover all three "styles" of the headgear:
1) Original thin style - Velcro no longer sticks after
second washing. Straps cut into face. = one half star.
2) Free trial version sent to me when I complained about number one. This version is very similar to the HC431 headgear, and it was a big improvement. However, it did
stretch out in the 5 months I used it. = Three stars
3) Latest style (black on outside and gray on inside)
By far their best effort. mask stays in place better
without the over-stretch of mask number 2. = Five stars"

"Mask is great - headgear is awful. The velco is too weak to hold together while you are sleeping. After a period of time, it is hard to even get the velcro to attach. Better velcro is needed!"

"Its very hard to keep the haed gear untangled, and adjucted,the nose pillow are uncomfortable and leak.and when I finally got the mask to be almost ok the headgear has come apart. bob"

Great mask-Terrible headgear

"I bought a Hybrid mask, The headgear does not work well at all. The snaps come off when I'm putting it on, the velcro comes off when I'm putting it on. When I finally have it on and go to sleep the velcro comes loose and I get leaks. The strap needs to be heavier duty, thicker, wider and stronger. They should make the headgear similar to the ResMed Ultra Mirage full face mask, that headgear is five star. You should contact the manufacturer and see if they can offer a heavy duty optional upgrade or upgrade their present headgear. This would improve review ratings and improve sales."
