Important Tips
Extra Small and Small pieces can be interchanged. Medium, Large, and Extra Large nose pieces can be interchanged. Do not try to go up in size from a Small or down in size from a Medium because the nose piece will not fit on the connectors. It will fit on the new Nasal Aire II but is not the newer design.
"The old Nasal Aire prongs are expensive and I do not understand why Nasal Aire is not retailing them, but there is no doubt in my mind that the old design which I have used for years is better than the new Nasal Aire II prongs."
Nasal -Aire prong I versus II
Gerald A, MO – December 09, 2010
"The Nasal Aire I CPAP prong is somewhat iritating on the inside of the nose but it is easy to insert and it stays in place. The Nasal Aire II version is harder to install correctly and tends to slip out during the night. So I have tried to stay with the old version which overall performs better."
Nasal prong replacement
Greg D. – September 21, 2007
"Hi - I have a suggestion with the Nasal Aire prongs. On my old one ( the one the dog chewed on - no kidding) there is no way to identify the size and be sure of ordering the correct replacement.
I took a guess on the large size and it happens to work ok.
Is there any way for you to help customers identify size for ordering? Maybe just a diameter from the nostril fitting for comparison.
I thought $ 36 was a lot for a little rubber fitting - but I know that everything medical costs more.
Otherwise I was pleased with the service.
Next time my dog chews on my nasal aire I will come back and order a medium.
