Important Tips
If your elbow will not stay on your Liberty frame, this is the part you need.
"This is a fine product...but too prone to breaking. I have ordered several of these over the past three years. The Mirage Liberty is a fine mask...but originally the outside plastic rings on the mask were weak and easily broken. Happily, this was fixed. Now the same thing needs to be done to this elbow assembly to make it a bit heartier."

"Doesn't fit my machine. But while I took mine apart (it squeaked when it turned) to try to fit this new one, I cleaned mine before I put it back together and made sure it was completely dry first. It doesn't squeak any more."
Love the mask but it has a weak Elbow Assembly
Susan D, OR – January 15, 2012
"This is my third type of mask and I love my Mirage Liberty Mask, however, this particular piece of the mask seems to be particularly weak in its attachment to the face mask. I usually need to get up in the night and I get back to sleep faster if I just remove the hose from the mask rather than to take the mask clear off and have to put it back on again. That weakens that little plastic ring that holds the hose to the mask. I have learned to reinforce the outside of the plastic circular ring that tends to crack and break prior to use in order to extend it's life. I do this with a rubbery hot glue that gives extra support to the ring while still being flexible for easy removal and attachment. Adds a good 6 months to the life of the elbow."
Poor design = Poor rating
John M, OH – November 26, 2011
"The design of the elbow assembly for the Mirage Liberty has resulted in the elbow breaking three times in one year of use. Other elbow designs from this mask maker are engineered to last. All in all this is my last purcahse of an elbow for this mask. When it breaks and I know it will the mask will be tossed."
nice to be able to replace this part:)
Karen S, MA – November 08, 2011
"I have only had to replace this elbow assembly twice in several years. Considering the cost of replacing the entire face mask, it is great to be able to obtain parts at a reasonable price. It clips in to the existing face mask easily and can be disconnected to clean."
