The 420G is the size of two VHS video cassettes stacked on top of each other. It is the lightest CPAP on the market. Best of all, it is built to last and backed by a two year manufacturer warranty which means that although it is a travel CPAP, you can plan on this little guy lasting as long as any other CPAP on the market. It is a great machine.
The 420g weighs only a pound and a half.
Hard to believe anything that small and light could perform as well or last as long as those other machines
three to four times its size. But it does.
The 420G will start the pressure out low and ramp it up over time so you don’t get blown away. It also has a
two-year manufacturer’s warranty, just like the big guys.
Going overseas? It will operate on any electrical current between 100 and 240 VAC without any adjustments except for power adapters.
Camping or RVing? It runs off of a 12volt battery source with just cables, no inverter necessary. If you change altitudes during all that travel, the 420G changes the pressure automatically.
Even if you stay at home, the 420G is a solid every night CPAP. Be sure to get the H2O heated humidifier base
for a healthier CPAP experience. No nasal irritation, sneezing, dryness or congestion. And we discount the
combo to make it easy on your wallet. Optional disposable fine filters help, too.
If just feeling better isn’t enough, and you want to actually see the results of your therapy, try upgrading to the 420S. This version will detect and record any residual snoring, apneas and hypopneas.
Need more? The 420 is also available in an auto-adjusting version, the 420E, which also records,
but will also deliver your ideal pressure on a breath by breath basis. This means it will keep your airway
open all night at the lowest possible effective pressure. You will feel the difference every single night!

Power Options
Universal Power
The GoodKnight 420G operates automatically between 110v – 240v AC. When traveling either inside or outside the USA, there are no switches to switch or fuses to change. The machine will automatically sense what voltage is needed and set itself to run on the power needed.
The user will need to adapt the plug that goes into the wall to fit the style of outlet socket that is being used. This is simply done with a Power Adapter Plug kit. This is the same type of plug adapter that would be used with a hair dryer or an electric shaver.
The Goodknight 420G comes equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit. This allows the user to connect the CPAP to an external DC battery source.
Using a Puritan Bennett, 12volt DC Power Cord the 420G can be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal for traveling by car, boat, or recreational vehicle that is equipped with a cigarette lighter plug.
It is recommended that you use a 100 amp hour, 12v DC deep cycle marine battery for operating you CPAP machine when not connected to 110v AC /230v AC.
There are two cables needed to configure the Goodknight 420G with a Marine Deep Cycle Battery. They fit together to make a connection from the back of the 420G to the battery clip terminals on the marine battery.
Here are the links to the cables needed to hook up to a marine style battery. Both cables are needed.
The Puritan Bennett Portable Rechargeable Battery Pack has been a long standing favorite of our customer’s. It weighs in at 8lbs and can be carried easily with its shoulder strap.
This battery pack will give roughly 7 hours of use, depending on the cpap pressure setting. (Results may vary.)
* The Puritan Bennett Portable Rechargeable Battery Pack must be charged with shore power. This unit can be charged at voltages ranging from 115v – 230v.

Our Comments
This small CPAP has been very popular because of the size and weight, especially as a second machine for travelers, but it can certainly be your “every night” machine with as long a life expectancy as any other CPAP. It is a great product.
CPAP machines come with a six foot hose, a travel bag and manuals. Masks are not included and must be purchased separately. We will be happy to help you with sizing and offer suggestions on current popular masks.
The 420 line of machines can experience power problems when used with a Full Face Mask at pressures exceeding 15 CM/H2O. If you wish to use this mask configuration, please consider a different machine.

"Received my purchase in good order and condition in 6 days. That was a record and I am very pleased with order processing and shipping.
However, I am still grappling with the ramping function. Somehow when I moved my head while asleep and air leakage occurs, the Cpap rather than ramping higher to compensate for loss of pressure, ramped down to idle state, allowing severe apnea to occur. This is not desirable.
Hope somebody out there faced with a similar problem could share their thoughts on how to overcome this situation.
Nevertheless, thank you for the reliable service."

"I have not yet had occasion to use my CPAP. I will be pleased to do so when I return from my European vacation. I first became introduced to you through the Internet. I phoned your service center to order. The staff were well informed and extremely helpful. The product was delivered promptly. If the product is as good as the service I received, I will be pleased. Thank you. T."
