"I use the Activa by the same manufacturer and it works alright. This full face model looked like a scaled up Activa but not so. It lacks the bellows-like interface that the Activa has and leaks terribly. It looks like it have the Active features in the photos but, it really does not. An hour or two is about all I can do at a time and I had to give up. If the manufacturer ever upgraded the replaceable interface to equal the Activa, they would have a product. It is a shame that buying these things is an all or nothing proposition for the patient being that there is no return policy from the manufacturer or the retailer. At these prices, there is no insentive for them to improve. If customers could return what did not work, things would inprove fast."

"My story: 6'3 male 270lbs pressure 18. Yes I am a big guy!!! I have been using the Ultra Mirage since day 1 of my diagnosis (6 yrs ago). I was getting to the point where I could not take the strap marks and the leaks and the forehead support that was cheaply made IMHO. I needed a change and was hesitant in switching masks. Let me tell you how grateful I am that I switched. This mask is made perfectly for me (large). What I noticed first was the cushion where attached to the mask is stiffer than the rest of the cushion which provides much greater support to prevent leaks. The headgear is a little too small for me but works ok. The adjustable forehead cushion and mechanism should be on every FF mask made. A little trick that I do is fold up some soft tissues to add additional cushion to the forehead support. This prevents any additional marks should I make it too tight. The air exhaust is out in front and shoots the air up...not sure how this could hit your partner unless you sleep with your chin touching your chest. For anyone doubting the decision, don't hesitate!!! I have not slept this well for quite a long time.

As far as cpap.com goes, you can't get any better than this from a company!!! I bought the return insurance...not an issue and the sizing guide is an added bonus...perfect match. I also purchased the Snuggle Straps...no more side marks.
Don't wait any longer...take the plunge...only thing on my wish list...was that it came with an extra mask cushion...the UM comes with two...good luck"
