Great Mask with a few additions

"This is the same mask I received with my machine. I like its free flowing movement so much I didn't bother trying any other style of mask. The only drawback is the occasional adjustment for minor leakage when on your side. Other than that, it is pretty comfortable to wear. The one thing I would suggest is to outfit it with the SnuggleHose Cover and the Velcro Tube Retainer. They really add to the comfort level."

For HER

"Finally something sized for the female face. Since sleep apnea is related to aging and obesity, and many more women than men experience excessive weight gain after menopause, the number of WOMEN needing these products is probably far greater than men, yet most of the headgear is sized for that bigger male skull and face and nose. Try this one on for size and you will love it!"

Almost perfect

"Finally someone made a mask that is both functional and comfortable. The soft wrap is great, no facial marks. The multi-sizing of the nasal pillows are sure to fit anyone. My husband has one also; we both love this mask and believe me, we have gone through a lot of them.
The only minor complaints I have are as follows:
1. The top clip holder allows the hose to slip and this will eventually punch a hole in the hose. Since this is not a replaceable part, that means a whole new mask. Maybe that's the point - functional obsolesence. I solved this problem by cutting a long thin strip of velcro, wrapping it around the hose and the holder and sticking it to the headgear.
2. The side part that suppose to go over the ear is about 1/4 inch too short and falls behind the ear. I solved this problem with scissors and cut a little of the band off so it is now above the ear not behind it.
3. The hose will not fit any of the quick connects fittings so unattaching it is a pain.
4. The hose is about 2- 3 inches too long for a back sleeper and would work better if it had an 45 or 90 degree ell.
Don't they know dem dumb hoses do not bend, they curve?
I use the hose buddy to elevate my hose overhead. I just happened to have one of the respironics elbows handy which solved this problem (and also item #3). I still have to scoot down in bed in order to keep the hose from bunching up and hitting the headboard thus dislodging the mask.
Like I said these are minor compared to the problems with the other masks we have tried."

No major difference

"Had the Mirage Swift II before and was satisfied. Got the women's version this time. I can't see any actual difference in the size of the mask parts, except that it comes with a smaller size range of pillows. It seems to be the same mask in powder blue instead of dark blue. It works fine, about the same as the other version. I do like the little fleece booties that attach to the side pieces so you don't get mask imprints on your face."

not impressed

"I want this to work, since the large masks are uncomfortable. I've used CPAP for over 10 years, and have no issues with the concept. Instructions for fitting are poor, and none of the sizes seal well. Two sizes seem close, but I don't know what could be different to make it work! The head gear is OK, I think, but flimsy. I just want a pillow to fit -- then it would be OK. It is extremely noisy, as well, but that could be because it isn't put together correctly -- thanks to poor instructions."
