ResMed has completed a total redesign of the Mirage Swift series of pillow masks. Changes can be seen on the headgear, pillow cushion, and overall performance.
Ultra-Quiet Almost twice as quiet than the original Swift and 71% quieter than the Swift II. The air vent is located on the frame instead of the cushion and disperses air gently downward more in line with natural breathing.
Small, Lightweight, and Travel Friendly At 2.3 ounces, this mask will not weigh you down. It has one of the smallest footprints that covers less of the face. The pillows rest gently just under the nose. The mask's frame is half the size of both previous Mirage Swift designs. It folds up for easy travel. The minimal design creates comfort and helps users with better therapy effectiveness and allows for reading or watching TV at bedtime, even with glasses on.
Improved Pillows Pillows now come with a dual-wall design that provides improved stability and comfort. Along with an added flexible pillow base, the cushion allows for movement without breaking the seal. All pillow sizes are interchangeable with the mask frame.
Headgear Unlike any headgear before, the Swift LT uses a patented rotating barrel to adjust the pillow angle. The stability arms expand to accommodate most facial widths including narrow or wide faces.
Easy Fitting The Swift LT comes with Small, Medium, and Large size pillows included and fitting is quick and easy. After initial fitting and adjustment of the Velcro straps, there is no need for daily readjustment.
Ease of Cleaning Assembly and disassembly are simple and easy, with very few parts, making for effortless cleaning or replacement of parts.
For Her ResMed offers a version of the Swift LT for women. Same great features with a feminine touch. The For Her version comes packaged with sizes XS, SM and MD nasal pillows. To read more visit this page: Swift™ LT for Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear.

Mirage Swift LT Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear
These masks offer replaceable cushions, pillows, or prongs. These unique CPAP Masks offer replaceable cushions as a low cost solution to keep your mask feeling and working like new.
Tired of adjusting your headgear every time you take your mask off during the night? Quick-Clips allow users to easily remove and replace the mask on your face without re-adjusting the headgear straps.
Some masks come with a forehead support as part of the mask design. Masks marked "yes" contain a forehead support, while masks marked "no" do not contain a forehead support.
This describes the type of mask cushion for the mask. These values are either cloth, foam, gel, or silicone. The foam and gel are usually both silicone based materials. The masks that are marked as "silicone" are without gel or foam.
Indicates which masks come packaged with more than one cushion, pillow or prong. Masks can come packaged with ALL Sizes or a combination of sizes as a Fit Pack. This is ideal for users who have not tried the mask before and do not know the right size to select.
This property identifies masks that are ideal for small facial features. Any mask with a size petite or extra small will be marked 'Yes'. Nasal Pillow masks are ideal because they accommodate the size of the 'nare' or nasal openings, not the face.
The value will be marked 'Yes' for CPAP masks with interfaces that are unique to CPAP users with wide facial features. Masks with 'Wide' cushion sizes would fall under this category. Nasal pillow and prong masks are ideal for wide faces because the seal occurs around the nare, not the face.
Do you move around a lot when you sleep? These masks are ideal for users who either sleep on their side or stomach or restless sleepers who toss and turn. There are a few specialized cushions that address this issue as well as most Nasal Pillow and Prong CPAP masks.
These masks are designed to prevent mouth leaks. If you are opening your mouth during the night, airflow escapes and reduces therapy effectiveness. Users who are experiencing a dry mouth, sore throat, or sinus congestion may require a mask that seals around the mouth.
TV Friendly CPAP masks have interfaces that avoid obstructing your vision so you can read or watch TV before going to bed. Any mask designed without a forehead piece will fall under this property.
These masks have the least amount of material around the face, fewer headgear points, and offers more freedom when you sleep. Most Nasal Pillow and Nasal Prong masks are ideal for claustrophobic users.
These CPAP masks have interfaces that accommodate a wide variety of facial hair styles. Gel cushions and foam inserts provide support and comfort for users who may need to over-tighten headgear straps to help seal around facial hair. Silicone gel also helps create a fluid seal over the hair.

The Soft Wraps for Swift LT are sold separately. They are not included in this package.
"The ResMed Mirage Swift LT Nasal Pillow is a HUGE improvement over it's predecessor the ResMed Mirage Swift II. Now the exhalation tube is out front with a good swivel connection. The noise level is truly 70% quieter as advertised! But most of all, I can turn to either side while sleeping and I NEVER GET AN AIR LEAK! This is vital to a good night's rest. My last mask (the swift II) leaked all of the time and I couldn't turn to the side that had the exhalation tube attached to it. And it made much more noise. Now with the extra pillow cushioning and rotational positioning of the Mirage Swift LT mask I simply put on the mask, seat the pillows and go to sleep! One note though. It comes with a clip that attaches to the top part of the headgear so you can attach the exhalation tube over your head. I thought that this was a cool idea but, after trying it one night, I felt it was uncomfortable because I could feel and hear the tubing against my headboard. but thats just my preference. I use the machine tube laying across my chest so that when I turn to either side there is no pulling or hose noise. I don't even notice the tube being on my chest. Not even when I am turning into position. Probably because when I am laying on my sides, I am actually getting restful sleep! Even if my head is buried in the pillow my mask just won't leak now! Amazing! My wife suggested I order another for an extra. Bottom Line.... LOVE IT!"

Problem with fitting
Jill L, CEDAR FALLS, IA – July 11, 2008
"I was excited to try the newest Mirage Swift. I have previously used the original and the Mirage Swift 2 with excellent results. After a week of trying the new Lt, and getting sleepier and sleepier, I can say the following about it. It most definitely is the most quiet mask yet. Couldn't hear a thing. It also has a wonderful design with the air flow direction. It did not blow air onto my pillows or covers and drive me crazy--I am a side sleeper and it was perfect for that. Also, when on my side, it did not change positions. It did not get all askew. The last of what I loved about this mask is how little of it actually touches your face. That said, I had to stop using it. The major problem with it (or my face) is that my nostrils are not located on the tip of my nose, facing out like my eyes. No, my nostrils are located on the under side of my nose like everyone else. The mask did not curve under enough to keep from pulling the tip of my nose, and my nostrils, back toward my scalp. Painful and impractical."
"I've used the Original Mirage Swift mask and then went to the Swift FX and now to this one. All were good but I think this one is by far the best. Light weight, great seal and mobility. They seem to continue to better."
Great Mask
Michael S, OH – January 18, 2013
"Wearing a cpap mask is a pain but this mask is great, very light weight, no condensation build up, no leaks, and I can bury my face in the pillow and it still works. I like the snap which routes the hose over my head rather than across my face. Very glad I tried it. it should also be much less expensive to replace the wearing parts as I need to. Well worth the price."
Better late than never
Samuel H, VA – January 15, 2013
"I have finally found the right headpiece. After Strugling with Velcro these many years, I can now wear a light weight unit that doesn't have a Velcro mind of its own. Wish I had found it years ago. ,"

How often should I replace my mask?
Medicare allows for mask cushion replacement every three (3) months, and a complete mask system replacement every six (6) months. CPAP manufacturers and vendors suggest these replacement schedules as well.
In our experience, most mask cushions begin to deteriorate after about six months of use. The cushion eventually becomes too soft to hold a seal. The headgear straps lose elasticity and must be tightened more and more to get the same quality seal.
We strongly suggest replacing cushions and pillows as soon as they start to soften. Air leaks may reduce the effectiveness of CPAP therapy and headgear that is too tight may cause facial sores at pressure points. In most cases, replacement headgear is available if it is stretched out or the Velcro worn out.
To see what parts of your mask are replaceable refer to our Replacement Part Finder. Just search for your mask to see all of the replaceable parts.
How do I care for my mask?
Masks should be washed daily with warm water using a very gentle soap or baby shampoo, and left to air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask.
The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using mask wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.

Why might I prefer a nasal pillow mask?
Nasal pillow delivery systems offer less contact with the face than either full face or traditional nasal masks. This system works well for those who tend to feel closed in or claustrophobic. Many nasal pillow systems have nothing that cross in front of the bridge of the nose allowing for a clear line of sight for reading or watching TV.
It can be easier to achieve a seal with this system, because there is less for you to adjust and less surface area to create and hold a seal.
Nasal pillow systems may work well for someone with a mustache or beard as the seal occurs only at the nares or nasal opening.
Someone who has a facial mole or scar near or around the nose, may find getting a seal with a traditional nasal mask difficult. Nasal pillows are an option in this circumstance.
Most nasal pillow masks also come with all sizes included to make finding the right size easier.
