"I thought this device would work better than the plastic hose holder that came with the mask, but for me, it does not. Because it doesn't anchor permanently to the headgear, it can slide on the headgear straps,even when tightly cinched. This morning, I found that it had traveled all the way down the headgear strap, and my hose was diagonal across my face.

It can also travel down the hose towards the face, pulling the hose tighter across the face. I'm going back to the plastic hose holder, even though it isn't perfect, either. At least it swivels to prevent tangles."

"I first discovered this feature on the Fisher & Paykel Opus. This velcro adapter replaces the weak clip retainer at the yop of the Swift LT headgear. The velcro holds the tube securely and prevents the tube from coming out of the head gear.

The best argument for the plastic clip that comes with the Swift LT headgear is the ability to anchor the tube after reading or watching TV. I fall asleep soon after starting CPAP therapy so this is not applicable to me."
