"I'm sleeping like a baby. Had some leaking problems with noise. I replaced the seal rings and all problems solved. Best $15 I've ever spent."

"Replacing these seal rings made a difference! Mine were almost a year old and had started to discolor and leak. New seals work great."

Day 5
May 24, 2007

"The first night was a bit awkward as it was the first time to use any style of a mask. With minimal issue I slept very well - a full 7 hours with only three short awakenings.
The second night, I used the humidifier (#3 on a S7 Elite machine. For me the humidity seemed to be too much so I decided to reduce the setting for the next night. Still a good night's sleep.
The thrid night, the humidifier was set to #2 and again the humidity is too much for me. Good sleep - each morning has been an earlier rise than typical as well.
The forth night, no humidifier, change the straps to front loop positions (better fit) and realized that the mask is actually too tall for my head. I'll add something on top to pull the mask higher up. Each morning till now as I woke it seemed as if I had been compressed and was emerging and inflating back to normal size. A great weight had been lifted and I feel great.
Last night, 7 (seven) straight uninterupted hours of sleep. This is bizarre. Every morning has been an early rise, fully alert and ready for the world. Rarely do I get to sleep w/o one side of my sinus cavity closing off, however with the CPAP system I am breathing fully every night and start the morning accordingly.
The adjustment to affectively shorten the reach of the mask worked so I'm going to add some type of foam wrapping to the crown of the mask to make the fit better.
I'm sleeping like a normal person for the first time in decades. :-)"
