The AutoSet Spirit CPAP machine uses a pressure sensor located next to the air outlet to adjust for back pressure. When using the Humidiare heated humidifier along with your AutoSet Spirit, you must use this adapter for the pressure sensor to function properly.
Before connecting the humidifier, remove the standard Pressure Line Adapter. After attaching the Humidaire to the AutoSet Spirit, this pressure sensor adapter will fit onto the humidifier air outlet port. Then the narrow tubing slides onto the pressure line sensor, next to the air outlet port.
