"This was recommended to me by another cpap user. My old strap allowed me to open my mouth during the night, this one keeps my mouth shut and stays in place."

Still trying to figure it out.

Chris K, Houston, TX – May 07, 2008

"I purchased this chin-strap on advice of other reviewers that claimed it was comfortable; however, I have yet to wear it for more than an hour at a time due to DIScomfort. If I put it on tight enough to keep my mouth from dropping open during the night, it feels like my head is in a vise; if I don't put it on tight enough, it slides off. The sleep study clinic I went to had a one-piece strap (non-adjustable) that worked great; this strap, not so good. Still trying to figure it out but I have discovered one thing: I paid too much for something that just doesn't work as advertised. Proceed with caution."

Easy on & off

"I usually use the restroom in the middle of the night and I enjoy the fact that you can put on and take off this chinstrap easily. Super easy to use."

Might, or might not, work for you

Stefan – May 08, 2014

"My sleep doctor recommends this one. I bought the red strap but would not tolerate its neoprene chin cup and lack of stretchiness.

This one takes practice to get it on, in the right place, and at the right tension. The manufacturer's instructions show it going over the front of the head, not the back, as the mannequin models.

There is only one stabilizing strap, and its position is fixed. Oddly enough, perhaps, for me the only way the strap works is for the stabilizing strap to lead from the upper-left side of the back of my head, and downward diagonally across to attach on the opposite side in the front, near the right-front jawline."
