FitLife Total Face Mask Features and Benefits:

  • Headgear Design Reduces Skin Irritation
  • Just–The–Right–Size Headgear
  • Components Designed to Eliminate Leaks and Mimic Natural Breathing
  • Put On and Take Off Your Mask With Ease
  • Added Comfort Improves the Quality of Your Sleep

The FitLife CPAP Mask is Ideal For:

  • Light Sleepers
  • If You Have Facial Hair
  • If You Experience Claustrophobia
  • If You Breathe Through Your Mouth or Nose
  • Wide Facial Structures
  • If You Have Nasal Bridge Breakdown

Headgear Design Reduces Skin Irritation

While some conventional masks feature headgear straps that rest along the cheeks or the bridge of the nose, the advanced headgear for the FitLife Total Face Mask does not. Thanks to this feature, many users notice fewer red marks and irritation across their cheeks and nose after using this comfortable mask.

Just–The–Right–Size Headgear

Because the FitLife mask and accompanying FitLife headgear come in three sizes (small, large, and extra-large), the design on the back of the headgear varies. Some have a cut–out while others do not, but the manufacturer notes the variances do not affect the product’s performance.

Components Designed to Eliminate Leaks and Mimic Natural Breathing

The molded cushion and its ability to seamlessly seal air pressure as it circulates throughout the mask helps eliminate leaks and lets you experience more natural, comfortable breathing. Thanks to the FitLife Total Face Mask's large surface area and robust seal, eye irritation is greatly reduced, making for even more effective sleep therapy and fewer disruptions in the night.

Put On and Take Off Your Mask With Ease

Simplify your mask’s application and removal with ez peel tabs that make taking your mask on and off a breeze. You won’t have to make readjustments, either, when you return from a quick overnight restroom break thanks to the FitLife CPAP mask’s convenient snap clips.

Added Comfort Improves the Quality of Your Sleep

Improve the quality of your sleep thanks to features designed to enhance your comfort. The seal moves pressure off your cheeks and nose, allowing the soft silicone cushion to provide added comfort, while quiet leak ports direct exhaled air away from the user, ensuring a quieter night's sleep for both you and your partner.

There are special circumstances or needs for this mask such as a patient who leaks air out of the corner of their eyes or has a facial condition preventing the use of a nasal or full face mask. Like a full face mask, a total face mask equalizes pressures for even delivery of treatment. However, this mask encompasses the entire face to cover all openings on the face where air might escape, such as the eyes.

FitLife Total Face CPAP Mask

The mask cushion cannot be replaced. If you notice increased leaks or that the seal has become degraded, consider replacing the entire mask.

Cleaning Tips

  1. Using mild soap and lukewarm water, gently scrub the cushion and the mask.
  2. Rinse when finished, and make sure to wash away any soap suds that may be left behind.
  3. Set aside to air dry.

Where do I find the size?

The cushion is not replaceable.

The mask frame does not have an identifiable size because the unit is sold as one piece. To find the size of the unit, look for the marking on the cushion. With the mask turned upside down, look at the flat bottom of the cushion, where the frame connects to the silicone. A large circle with a letter is found directly in the middle of the bottom of the cushion. The letter indicates the size of the entire unit.

Fit and Sizing Guides

Currently, the manufacturer is packaging this mask with grey headgear. There may be an opening at the back of the headgear. Whether or not there is an opening, the headgear will function as it should.

Two sizes fit most adults. NOT for side sleepers but work well for users on their back.

Early models of the FitLife Full Face Mask came with two elbows. The blue elbow is an alternative Non-Ventilated elbow. Use this only with a ventilator equipped with adequate alarms and safety systems for ventilator failure. A typical CPAP device will not have adequate alarms and safety systems.

The Headgear for FitLife Total Face CPAP Masks come in three sizes:

  • Small - Part Number 1060807
  • Large - Part Number 1060808
  • Extra Large - Part Number 1089990

The Small FitLife comes packaged with the small headgear, the Large FitLife comes package with the large headgear and the Extra Large FitLife comes packaged with the extra-large headgear. Colors vary and do not affect the function of the headgear. The headgear may or may not have a cutout on the back head strap, performance is not affected by this design change.

Swivel Note: In some instances, the swivel that attaches to the elbow on the Fitlife mask to connect a CPAP hose comes packaged unattached. Simply attach the swivel by snapping to the elbow and then connect the hose for use.

How do I care for my mask?

Masks should be washed daily with warm water and gentle soap or baby shampoo. Let the mask air dry. Never use antibacterial soap as it will break down the silicone of the mask cushion. Avoid soaps that include lotion which can coat the mask and cause it to lose its seal. A safe cleaner is the Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution. Remember, going to bed with a clean face will improve your seal and protect the lifespan of your mask. Citrus Mask Wipes

The best time to clean your mask is in the morning after use. This removes the oils left behind from your skin which can reduce the lifespan of your mask. We recommend using Mask Wipes to make daily morning cleaning easy. The mask wipes are made from materials that will not break down your mask.

Citrus Mask Wipes

For customers who want to completely disinfect their mask and accessories, there's an even better option than wipes. The Lumin Mask and Accessories Cleaner uses powerful UV light to disinfect, killing almost all bacteria almost instantly. It's not a cleaner and doesn't scrub or wash anything, but for simple disinfecting the Lumin works great!

Here are some other cleaning products to help with keeping your mask fresh:

Control III Disinfectant CPAP Cleaning Solution - Home Care Kit

Hurricane CPAP Equipment Dryer

Unscented CPAP Mask Wipes

How often should I replace my mask?
Medicare allows for mask cushion replacement every three (3) months, and a complete mask system replacement every six (6) months. CPAP manufacturers and vendors suggest these replacement schedules as well.

In our experience, most mask cushions begin to deteriorate after about six months of use. The cushion eventually becomes too soft to hold a seal. The headgear straps lose elasticity and must be tightened more and more to get the same quality seal.

We strongly suggest replacing cushions and pillows as soon as they start to soften. Air leaks may reduce the effectiveness of CPAP therapy and headgear that is too tight may cause facial sores at pressure points. In most cases, replacement headgear is available if it is stretched out or the Velcro worn out.

To see what parts of your mask are replaceable refer to our Replacement Part Finder. Just search for your mask to see all of the replaceable parts.
Which CPAP masks work on which machines?

Any mask will work with any machine, with one important exception. The ResMed AirMini is only compatible with certain ResMed CPAP masks. Compatible masks for the AirMini are as follows:

  • ResMed AirFit™ N20 Nasal Mask
  • ResMed AirFit™ F20 Full Face
  • ResMed AirTouch™ F20 Full Face
  • ResMed AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow

When considering another CPAP, APAP or BiPAP machine from ResMed or any other manufacturer, mask compatibility extends to all brands. The AirMini uses non-standard tubing to connect the machine to the mask, and is the primary reason why other masks won't work with the AirMini. Despite this issue, many of our customers consider the AirMini to be an excellent machine.

How do I choose the mask that is right for me?
We provide our customers with many tools to make informed decisions about their mask purchases. Options include:
  • Calling a CPAP Expert Toll Free. 800.356.5221.

  • Comparison Charts. These charts compare available masks, feature by feature. IF you're unsure of the meaning of a feature, click on or hover over the question mark for a pop out definition. Click on the image or name of the product for more detailed product information, pictures and resources.

Not good for side sleepers. Not very good in general

Verified purchase | May. 29, 2023 | James S.
I had high hopes for this mask. I wanted a mouth-nose mask that didn't push on the inner corners of my eyes, and this seemed like the the way to go. The headgear is excellent, adjustable in all the right places, but the mask itself is not. The main swivel has a small air leak that makes a high pitched whistle, and that's annoying. The air inlet is pointed right at my nose, which would be ok on any other mask, but my *eyes* are in there with it, and sleeping with the wind in my face (eyes) isn't that great. The real deal killer, though, is that the mask is dislodged completely if I roll over on my side. If I tighten the straps until it stays put (more or less), it gives me headaches. Discontinued use after two nights.

Full Face Mask

Verified purchase | Nov. 01, 2022 | Verified CPAP.com Customer
I have tried it for 1 night and find it to be a bit annoying as it moves as I breath. When I breath in, it collapses, then when I breath out it expands. I purchased the mask due to upcoming topical Chemo on my nose for Basal cell Carcinoma. It will work just fine for the purpose I purchased it for, to not have anything touching my nose. I am sure I wil get accustomed to the motion.

FitLife total face mask

Verified purchase | Oct. 30, 2022 | Verified CPAP.com Customer
Prior to purchasing the FitLife Total Face Mask I was using a full face mask and experienced soreness with irritation at the bridge of my nose and frequent “eye” leaks. The Total face mask has eliminated the irritation and soreness at the bridge of my nose and the frequent eye leaks. I recommend this mask if you experience the same issues with CPAP masks.
