S8 Elite filter

"I bought the filters to use with an S8 Elite machine. The filters are not as substantial as the ones that originally came with the machine. I had trouble getting the filter in correctly. It sort of scrunched when I put it in. I had to make a couple of attempts to get it to lay flat and fill the space. Now that it's in, it seems to be functioning normally."

"The filters were delivered on time and properly sealed. The problem, as many others have stated, is that the new filters are flimsy and pale in comparison to the filter that came with the machine. I'm not sure what the answer is to this problem. Maybe CPAP can demand from the manufacturer that the replacement filter be the same quality as the original. I would be willing to pay more for the quality."

"The filters that I purchased for my Resmed S8, did not have the thin guaze like filter on the white side of the white/blue foam
, perhaps this is why they were so inexpensive ?"
