Transcend Universal Hose Adapter

This is a unique and essential piece of the transcend system. Without this the unit will not function properly. I would suggest always keeping a spare!

I couldn't figure out why my CPAP was running fast cpap.com FAQ told me I needed the adapter - it works, now my machine works good as new.

Had for a couple years now. Put bluntly, it's a crapshoot as to whether you will get 4 hours or 7 hours out of it. I have had both and under identical conditions, plugged in 14 hrs charging, then one night it's good, next night I'm suffocating at 3 AM and having to try to get back to sleep again. Charging light turns green 15 after plugging in to the charger, regardless of discharge state, so it's no guide either. I hate very few products, this is one of them. I went to Walmart and got a 12v small UPS (or maybe lawnmower?) sealed battery and a $40 inverter and I can last multiple nights with no charge with this setup. I can use several batteries in parallel if I need more stamina, or just one to save weight.

Wish they designed it so this adapter was not needed. But it's not really a problem, either way, unless you forget to bring it.

Its quick and easy to get replacement parts for discontinued models. I glad I continue to use my travel CPAP, even when I lose parts or need to replace worn out ones.

Although this unit is extremely compact, it is very loud compared to my old unit. So much that I choose to only use it when I travel.
