What is the best advice you could give to someone using a CPAP? Be totally committed and willing to let your body adapt to the treatment. Some people experience immediate benefit but the majority do not, including myself.
How would your co-workers describe you? Adam has filled many wide and varied roles in the company, moving up the ladder of responsibility successfully, growing with the tasks expected of him. His experience and seniority with this company makes him a solid knowledge-base for customers and employees. He communicates clearly with others, has a well developed sense of humor, fostering a warm bond between himself and his co-workers. He maintains confidences when needed and passes information forward as called for to make situations better for the company or an individual.
What would your best friend tell us about you? Adam is funny and laid back. He enjoys watching football and eating some hot wings. If you need help, Adam helps without question.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Astronaut
Tell us about your family: I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 10 years and we have a beautiful 2 year old son.
Who is your hero? My father. He is fighting Colon Cancer, Heart Disease and Diabetes but he maintains his faith in God and determination to see his family grow and prosper.
Favorite thing to do on your days off: Go camping, and fishing. I love to play with my son, spend time with my wife, and help out at church or church events.
Describe a difficult or unusual situation when you went above and beyond to assist a customer or solve a problem at work: When this company first started, on a few occasions I delivered last minute urgent orders to the UPS distribution center on my way home when customers called in after the shipping deadline. I specifically recall a customer who called desperate for a small travel friendly, DC capable CPAP because he was being deployed to Iraq and only had a day or two, at most, before leaving. The logistics were nearly impossible and I had no way of knowing if we were successful. It was delivered, but he could not contact us to confirm if he was able to take it with him. A few months later we heard from him when he contacted us for replacement filters and the machine was working great.
What do you enjoy most about working at CPAP.com? Helping people find the right CPAP solution to meet their needs. As a user, I know how important it is to be comfortable with such a transforming lifestyle change. I try and remember this when working with customers and train my team in that regard as well.
What has been the most important thing you have learned at CPAP.com? That every customer is different, but we have learned and created the best solutions to their questions and CPAP problems. It is important that we help our customers to continually learn and discover.
Anything else we should know about you? I like to apply new thinking and technology to my personal and professional life. I like to stay informed with the latest technology and see how it can improve the world around us.
