Hi y’all! Layne from CPAP.com, here to talk to you about the new CPAP mask, the F30, that’s launching today.
It will be on our website at 1 PM. This mask is a full face mask and is compatible with all machines (except for the AirMini). ResMed has said that they will make this mask compatible with the AirMini later on, but not at this time. I’m going to tell you a little bit about it, covering some of the highlights. On this side, there’s a place for your nose and mouth. It’s very low profile.
Not only does the elbow swivel 360 degrees, but it also pivots up and down. If you’re an active sleeper and you’re moving around, the mask moves with you. The elbow has a quick release. If you need to get up in the middle of the night, you simply push the clips on the side and it comes right out. When it goes back in, it makes a nice hearty clicking sound which is very rewarding, so you know it’s back in place.
The headgear is padded and very comfortable. To put it on, you simply pull the mask over and clip the headgear to the frame using these little magnets. It’s very easy to get on and off. Another really great thing about this mask is that it’s very low-profile. That means I could watch TV, wear my glasses; I could read a book– all while wearing my mask and getting ready for bed and winding down for the day.
The mask design-wise is similar to other low-profile full face masks, like the DreamWear Full Face Mask and the Amara View. I’d like to point out the differences. The magnet on the F20 and the F30 is a superior magnet. On the DreamWear Full Face, I find that I’m able to easily pull it apart. This one really stays in place. The Amara View uses a little hook, which I find somewhat hard to undo. The F20 and the F30 are really great for that.
ResMed says they’re only doing small and medium-sized cushions with this mask. They have done some studies and suggested that most people are going to be a small or a medium, so even if you’re using a large in a different style mask, I would urge you to give a different size a try. Why? What have you got to lose with CPAP.com? All our masks come with free return insurance. Give it a try. If it’s not going to be big enough for you, that’s ok! Send it back and get a full refund.
Interviewer: How About the Headgear and the Frame? Does it come in different sizes or is it one-size-fits-all?
It’s one size fits all on the headgear and the frame as well. Here’s the cushion. It pops right into the frame which is one-size-fits-all. No matter if you get a small or a medium, it pops right in and enjoy!
Interviewer: Thank you, Layne, for your presentation, I really appreciated you telling us everything there is to know about this mask.
It’s my pleasure, and we’ll see you at CPAP.com!

Hi! I’ve been a cpap user since 2012 and have tried them all. I’m a full face mask user. I have been using the Amara view since It has been out, Love it. They have now come out with magnets, but you can still use the clips by opting the magnet. They are also the F30 I would like try but guess what, magnets. You must be thinking why. My apnea doctor said no. You guys are forgetting about the guy with a PACEMAKER. Make them with a clip and a magnet if needed. The Amara-View does. They are some awesome mask out there but can’t try them MAGNETS…….
Hi Stephen, we are glad to hear that the Amara View is working out for you. I’m sorry to hear that you are not able to try out the really great masks due to the magnets. Hopefully, in the near future the manufacturer of the masks with the magnets, will take heed to your suggestion and make changes to the mask that will allow everyone the opportunity to try them out.
Best wishes!
Just ordered the ResMed Airfit F30. I have a pacemaker. Didn’t know about The magnets. Hope it doesn’t interfere with the pacemaker?
Hey Carter, because magnets are used in the F30 it should be kept at least 50 mm away from any medical implant impacted by the presence of magnets. Medical implants affected by magnets can include certain cardiac implants such as pacemakers and defibrillators. The magnetic field strength is less than 400 mT.
Please be sure to consult with your doctor before attempting to use this mask.

What air tube is compatible with the Airfit F30 full face mask? I have a Reamed AirSense 10 and my current hose won’t connect to the new F30 I bought
Hi Ronny, the F30 should work with all hoses. Please confirm that there isn’t a piece stuck in, or on your hose from your previous mask. This is a common issue because the piece that is most likely stuck at the end of the hose where you connect the mask, isn’t very noticeable and may be a little difficult to remove.
Please contact us for further assistance if the problem persists at: 1-800-356-5221, you may ask for Carol.
Have a great day!
