AirFit F30 Features

Easy Adjustments With Less Skin Irritation. One of the best qualities of the AirFit F30 is how easy it is to get on and take off. To put on the mask, you will first take the rear headgear strap and slide it over the back of your head. Second, you will position the cushion at the base of your nostrils. Third, you will take the magnetic clips and lock them into place. The AirFit F30 covers the mouth and seals around the base of the nostrils, eliminating any forehead contact. ResMed has designed the AirFit F30 to be innovative and comfortable with fewer red marks and less irritation. The secure under the nose seal prevents soreness on the top of your nose.

Open Field of Vision: The AirFit F30 is a full face mask that grants an open field of vision so you’ll have the ability to read, watch TV, or send a text all without having to take your mask off. The mask sits lower on your face, which means you have the flexibility to see clearly and not have to worry about blockage from the forehead support.

Quiet Operation: The AirFit F30 borrows the magnetic headgear clips from the ResMed F20 series. They clip into place and help keep the mask secure during the night, which leads to a quiet mask. It also has the QuietAir Elbow, which dampens the noise, resulting in fewer disturbances. Who doesn’t love a quiet CPAP mask?

AirFit F30 Trial Period

The First Few Nights Wearing the AirFit F30. There’s been a lot of buzz about the AirFit F30, and I wanted to test it to see what it was like to live with it both day in and day out. When this product first came out, I took it home and tested it out for three days. Right away, I noticed a difference. I felt energized, awake, and experienced no brain fog.

A Few Weeks of Wearing the AirFit F30. The AirFit F30 uses my therapy air more efficiently than my other mask. Because the mask has a smaller surface area, when I breathe, I can feel my airway opening up. I feel my lungs filling with air. These factors are all wins if you have sleep apnea!

  1. I have been using the ResMed F20 for about 2 years. About last year I was getting an eye burn/dry eye. And the silicone around the bridge of the nose was making a flapping sound waking me about a dozen times a night. I went to my sleep center and they gave me something similar to this one. But my mouth kept opening and dropping below it. So I went back to the F20. My sleep Dr dropped my air pressure from a 13 to an 11. Helped some. I went back on May 3rd and they gave me the F30 to try. It was a loaner. I have somewhat of a larger head. I did find the one size fit all strap a little restraining, but the dry eye is better. I need to get better at positioning it under my nose. I am a side sleeper so this really helps.

  2. Hi there I have a partner that is the most sensitive sleeper to noise I have been told that the exhalation from CPAP masks is this loud or louder than my actual snoring that is keeping her awake I’ve been reading about the F 30 mask is it quieter than someone who snores
    Thanks Grant

    • Hi Grant, I am a light sleeper too, so I completely understand. As long as you have a good fit/seal, the AirFit F30 is a quiet mask. The quietAir elbow helps to reduce the noise. If you decide to give the mask a try and purchase from CPAP.com, it is sold with free 30 day returns (prescription required), so if your partner, complains of noise, simply return the mask for a refund, or a different mask.

  3. How does the airfit f30 get rid of carbon dioxide? I was just given this mask to use and cant see where carbon dioxide is released. Am I rebreathing it?

    • Hey Mike, i’m sorry for the delayed response. There are exhalation ports on the elbow of the mask. This is how the carbon dioxide is released.
