Are you looking for a straightforward, no-fuss nasal CPAP mask? The Pico Nasal mask from Philips Respironics is a modern CPAP mask with many comfort features we’ve come to expect from quality masks over the years.
The Pico is a great minimalist nasal mask backed by Philips Respironics’ historical brand quality. Designed to be a minimal, lightweight nasal mask, the Pico still features supportive headgear, a durable dual-wall cushion, quick release clips, and an easily detached 360-degree swiveling elbow.
The Pico Nasal Mask includes highly acclaimed features and integrates a refined design to fit comfortably with less material. In our Pico Nasal Mask review, we’ll weigh the pros and cons of this unintrusive mask and discuss some more of its features in greater detail. Read on to see if the Pico is perfect for you!
Pico Nasal Mask At A Glance:
Pros: | Cons: |
Very Small and Lightweight | Smaller Sizes May Fit Awkwardly |
Open Visibility | Vents Are Slightly Noisy |
Fits Comfortably on 98% of People | Velcro Tabs, Not Magnets |
Easily Adjustable | Frame May Dig Into Some Peoples’ Skin |
Tiny Frame Means Minimal Contact: This mask does not have a wide hard forehead support. The headgear folds around the top point of the mask frame, meaning the Pico has even less facial contact than the leading traditional nasal mask.
Durable Dual Wall Cushion: The inner wall provides support, while the softer outer layer offers a seal. This design contributes to a more harmonious seal. All three Pico cushion sizes are included with the Pico Fit Pack: Small/Medium, Large, Extra Large.
Stable Slim-line Headgear: Crown strap design secures a strap across the back of your head to help hold the mask position through the night. You’ll find the quick-release headgear clips create easy on/off access. Also, velcro tabs take out the complication by adding agility, making the right fit more achievable.
Quick and Easy Detachable Swivel: Masks that come apart easily are much easier to clean. The detachable swivel simply clicks apart to ease the use of removal during nighttime interruptions or post-therapy cleaning.
Extremely Popular Among Customers: Maybe you noticed that we weren’t even able to find a fourth bad thing about this mask in our pros and cons section. It turns out that customers can’t seem to either! The Pico is one of the most consistently highest-rated masks we sell at CPAP.com and negative reviews for this product are very few and far between.
We were even able to get the scoop on the Pico’s performance from one of our CPAP gurus the morning after his experience. Here’s what he had to say:
“It is very comfortable, even when compared against my Activa. The small overall dimensions are a welcome change from virtually every other nasal mask – less mask in my line of sight, less mass strapped to my face, etc.” – J.N.
Final Thoughts
There you have it: the Pico Nasal mask is a lightweight and minimalist nasal CPAP mask that is widely enjoyed and very well-reviewed. While velcro tabs aren’t our favorite way to keep our masks in place, the rest of the Pico’s design works very well for those that prefer low-profile nasal masks.
Even though it’s a surprisingly affordable mask compared to some of the other options out there, rest assured that we offer free return insurance for this product so even if you don’t like it, you have 30 days to send it back with CPAP.com!

What type of water is best for CPAP equipment?
Currently using distilled.
Would any other treated water be suitable?
I have a petite face with a small nose bridge. I use the Airfit N10 for her and could use a petite or extra small nasal cushion but they don’t make them. How are the cushions comparable?
@Barb
The Pico actually doesn’t offer a petite size.
For masks that have petite cushions try:

Hi, I have a relatively high pressure setting 21/25. My masks don’t last long and the only one which has worked for me best is Fisher & Paykel Eson 2 Nasal mask. But my recent purchase has been leaking from the start. The AHI reading which reduced to 1 or 2 per night has increased to 16 – 18 per night.
Any suggestion of other masks which can withstand that kind of pressure?
Hi Saurav, i’m sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with finding a mask. Most of the masks that we sell can withstand up to 25 pressure. Per the manufacturer, the Eson 2 should be able to withstand a pressure setting of up to 30. Since the Eson 2 has worked for you in the past, it is possible that the most recently purchased mask was defective, or maybe the leaking is related to the size of the mask.
Also, please keep in mind that setting requirements can change over time. Please be sure to speak with your doctor about the recent increase in your nightly AHI readings.

How difficult is it to put this mask on in the dark with severely crippled hands? I can’t guide magnets or clips into their receptors and need something that I can grab and put in place without any such clips. I also have a full beard to add to the complication. So far, the P10 is the best for me, but the leak rate varies all over the lot, night to night. The P30i looks good also, but I’m not crazy about the overhead hose.
Hi Mikey,
The Pico Nasal, is usually fairly easy to put on and get off. Please see the links below for other possible options, that may meet your needs a bit better.
