- Return Label (For Broken Machine)
Loaner machines are offered for rent to customers whose machine purchased from CPAP.com is in need of repair. The loaner machine provides a cost effective means of obtaining a short term substitute machine. Renting a short term loaner machine makes sense if you do not want to purchase a backup machine outright, but still want to ensure that you receive effective therapy.
You may use the loaner machine provided until your original machine is returned to you. Included in the shipment is a return shipping label. It is used to return your broken machine to us for repairs. A second return label will be issued with the return of your repaired machine so you may return the loaner to us.
The machine will be the same type but may not be the exact same make and model as your current machine. It will be sanitized by our in house technicians and will contain brand new disposable, reusable and bacteria filters. If you choose to upgrade to a heated humidifier, it will be stand alone or integrated as stock allows.
The loaner program is subject to the CPAP.com Loaner Policy.
When choosing your shipping method, please keep in mind that same day shipments are made Monday through Friday only excluding holidays.
Loaners are available to customers who purchased the machine which is malfunctioning from CPAP.com. If you are using the loaner service, we have your prescription on file from the original purchase of the machine. There is no need to send a prescription again.
Stand alone heated humidifiers are a good upgrade for your loaner machine and are available for purchase in the Loaner section.

Any mask will work with any machine, with one important exception. The ResMed AirMini is only compatible with certain ResMed CPAP masks. Compatible masks for the AirMini are as follows:
- ResMed AirFit™ N20 Nasal Mask
- ResMed AirFit™ F20 Full Face
- ResMed AirTouch™ F20 Full Face
- ResMed AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow
When considering another CPAP, APAP or BiPAP machine from ResMed or any other manufacturer, mask compatibility extends to all brands. The AirMini uses non-standard tubing to connect the machine to the mask, and is the primary reason why other masks won't work with the AirMini. Despite this issue, many of our customers consider the AirMini to be an excellent machine.

Here are some other suggested actions to care for your machine:
- Keep the area around your machine clean by removing any dust from the area to improve the air quality delivered to your machine and to you.
- Keep the air intake of the machine unblocked. Curtains, bedding, and papers can easily block the air intake of your machine, reducing the airflow.
- If a humidifier is used with your therapy, do not pick up the machine with the humidifier attached. With most machines it is easy to spill water from the humidifier chamber into the machine causing damage. Manufacturer warranties are voided by water damage to the machine. To avoid this, remove the chamber from the humidifier and then remove the humidifier from the machine rather than transporting them together.
- If a humidifier is used, empty the water from the chamber every morning. Accidents happen. If a family pet or family member moves the machine and humidifier with water in the chamber it is more likely that water could be spilled into your machine. Water damage to a machine voids the manufacturer warranty.
Cleaning and changing filters is the only maintenance required for a CPAP machine.
The filters are located at the back of the machine at the air intake.

I needed a loaner when my CPAP quit working. I was told the repair of my CPAP could take up to 8 weeks, and so felt that I should get a loaner, I couldn't function for up to 8 weeks without one. The loaner was shipped ground, so it took a week to get here. This is too slow for a piece of medical equipment. Now, one week later I am notified that my machine replacement is being shipped today. Thats great, but I paid too much for the loaner that took a week to get here and so will be used for maybe two weeks in all before my regular machine comes in. The loaner is fine, clean and operates properly. It is a quiet unit, and I have no complaint about the replacements quality, only about the price to use it. I think when I have extra money I may purchase a spare machine to keep around since my wife and I both use one. more...

While traveling my 420 cpap stopped working so I called 1-800-356=5221 for help. Fernando was able to UPS a loner cpap machine to a location along my travels. I really was thankful for his help as I do need the cpap at night. Paul more...

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the machine I received as a loaner. My current machine, as I stated in my order, is a lightweight travel CPAP machine, with a built-in humidifier; the machine I was given as a loaner was not a travel CPAP machine and probably weighed in excess of 5 pounds, with no humidifier. more...
