HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE RESMED AIRFIT N20 CUSHION?

Replacing your AirFit N20 Cushion can be done in just a few steps. First, push the side buttons on the frame and pull the elbow away, then unclip the magnets and undo the upper headgear tabs. Pull the strapping away from the frame and hold the frame between the upper and lower arms—at this point, you’ll be able to pull the cushion away from the frame with ease.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE AIRFIT N20 CUSHION?

Your AirFit N20 cushion should be changed every three to six months, unless you notice visible wear and tear or other physical damage to the product and then the cushion should be replaced immediately to ensure a secure mask seal and successful CPAP therapy. If you want to bundle and save money, purchase the ResMed AirFit N20 Mask + Five Replacement Cushions Bundle, so you won’t have to worry about ordering additional cushions in a pinch.

HOW DO YOU TAKE APART THE RESMED AIRFIT N20?

All AirFit masks can be disassembled in a similar fashion. To take apart your AirFit N20, remove the elbow from the frame and then unclip the magnets and undo the upper headgear tabs. From there, you can pull the strapping away from the frame and pull the cushion off of the frame.

IS THE AIRTOUCH N20 CUSHION COMPATIBLE WITH THE AIRFIT N20 MASK?

Yes, you can use the AirTouch N20 Cushion with an AirTouch N20 Mask and an AirFit N20 mask—whichever you prefer!

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AIRFIT N10 VERSUS THE AIRFIT N20?

The AirFit N10 is the older generation of the AirFit N20. The biggest difference is that the AirFit N20 features an improved cushion that provides a secure seal for 99% of face shapes, but both offer the performance and comfort you’ve come to expect from ResMed.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AIRFIT N20 VS. THE AIRFIT N30?

Like the AirFit N10 and the AirFit N20, the AirFit N20 is an older generation mask compared to the AirFit N30. The AirFit N30 is much quieter—the N20 operates at 24 decibels while the N30 has a sound level of just 18 decibels. However, they are both quieter than a whisper. If you’re a light sleeper, go with the lower sound level. Each of the AirFit masks are lightweight, whisper-quiet, and designed to eliminate leaks.
