WARNINGS
- Keep the Medistrom Pilot Lite backup power supply out of direct sunlight when charging via the Medistrom 50W Solar Panel Charger. Keeping the backup battery pack in direct sunlight can lead to the battery overheating, causing damage and permanently diminish capacity.
- Do not use your Pilot Lite battery when it is charging via the 50W Solar Panel.
Charge Time:
- The Solar Panel will take approximately seven to nine hours to fully charge the battery when in direct sunlight.
- This is in clear sunny conditions or sunny conditions with minimal cloud coverage.
How to Set Up the Medistrom Solar Panel
- Open up the Solar Panel and lay flat in direct sunlight.
- Use the cable provided to connect “Out 1" of the Solar Panel to the charging port of the Pilot-Lite Battery.
- Place the battery somewhere safe and out of the sun while it is charging.
How to Care for the Medistrom Solar Panel
- Wet a fabric cloth with plain tap water.
- Use the cloth to clean the surface of the solar panels to remove any dust and debris.
- Avoid using harsh cleaners or sprays to care for the solar panel.
