Weak Plastic

"Apparently the manufacturer of this item changed a year or two ago; the new manufacturer does not use enough plastic or tough enough plastic so that the clips develop cracks at the flexing point and break quickly. The clips I bought in 2004 lasted 4 years, these clips 3 months. Buy a bunch--the price keeps going up and the mask is useless without these clips."

Sturdier clips

"During the past 5 years I've worn out two sets of clips for the headgear I'm using. My recent purchase appears to be a sturdier design and I don't expect the clip tabs to weaken as quickly as older versions. When the clip is attached to the mask there is a very solid connection."

"I have had my CPAP machine for 3.5 years now. When I couldn't clip in my mask anymore, I was a bit panicked, since I discovered the clip broken as I prepared for bed at night. I have no back up so if I can't use my machine, both my husband and I will have a very hard night.
After making a search for such an item, I found it easily on this site. I ordered it through 3-day mail, and it actually got here in two days. Very glad to see it.
This is a very small item, but significant. It is very helpful to be able to find small replacement items like this and get them in a timely manner. I ordered a package of two, so now I have one for replacement. Turns out that I had simply worn the old clip right away. The little nubs that catch when I clip it had gotten too worn to catch anymore."
