The M Series BIPAP Auto is a small and feature packed Bilevel, that looks more like a stylish clock radio than a BIPAP.
It easily packs away in your carry on luggage, and has an incredible number of high-tech features, including the patented Bi-Flex comfort feature, self-adjusting pressure, for both IPAP and EPAP, and powerful clinical data features, on-board.
The new M Series BiPAP Auto brings together a unique combination of Respironics technologies to create the most advanced BiPAP on the market. It offers
Auto Adjust Maintains the minimum effective pressure to deliver only the level that is needed, when it is needed.
Bi-Flex Makes the breathing cycle much more natural and comfortable.
Digital Auto-Trak Algorithm Allows this machine to track and react to your natural breathing pattern.
Encore Pro Advanced Reporting Allows you to track key performance metrics like AHI, leak and snoring data on a nightly basis.
The M Series BiPAP Auto operates automatically between 110v – 240v AC. When traveling either inside or outside the USA, there are no switches to switch or fuses to change. The machine will automatically sense what voltage is needed and set itself to run on the power needed.
The user will need to adapt the plug that goes into the wall to fit the style of outlet socket that is being used. This is simply done with a Power Adapter Plug kit. This is the same type of plug adapter that would be used with a hair dryer or an electric shaver.
The M Series Bipap Auto comes equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit. This allows the user to connect the CPAP to an external DC battery source.
Using a Respironics, 12volt DC Power Cord the M Series BiPAP Auto can be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal for traveling by car, boat, or recreational vehicle that is equipped with a cigarette lighter plug.
The Respironics Battery Pack has been a long standing favorite of our customer’s. It weighs in at 13lbs and can be carried easily with its shoulder strap.
This battery pack will give roughly 26 hours of use, depending on the cpap pressure setting. (Results may vary.)

Perfect solution for BiPAP
December 20, 2009
(5 out of 5) by DAVID A, TX
"I have had two sleep clinic evaluations in 8 years. I found BiPAP more comfortable than cPAP as I don't like exhaling against the pressure. Earlier machines requiring factory settings annoy me as the limit flexibility in pressures. This machine senses your needs and delivers pressure on inhale. As you pause to exhale, it senses the small change and backs off pressure sufficiently to make it easy to exhaust. When coupled with the Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask, I am in heaven. Buy the bundle with heater. It fits together in a small integrated case and the carrying case you can order carries both and hose.
The unit includes a ramp up feature which allows you to fall asleep before it fully pressures up.
Cpap.com was outstanding in all aspects. Good service, quick shipping, well packaged to avoid damage and good email reminders.
HINT: If you are looking for a new machine and don't want to hassle talking to a doctor. The form provide by Cpap.com for prescription can be endorsed by your dentist also. File the insurance later. Get some sleep now."

"Somewhat complex compared to the machines I've used before. The machine imposes the breathing rythm, it took some time to get used to it. The noise level is acceptable."

"That's my first BiPAP. At first I was considering just the machine, but after look at the bundle I made the decision to include the heater humidifier. Although I have to ckeck the water level every night, both works perfet. The machine comes pre-configured, but the setup menu allows the user to change basic configuration in "user mode", or advanced configurations in "setup mode". This is useful if you want to turn your BiPAP Auto to operate as a CPAP. The Respironics bag is another great complementary product, fits all I needed during my regular trips."

"I replaced an M series CPAP machine with this auto bipap. Easier to use, less leaks, more comfortable. This is not a whole order of magnitude better, but a definite improvement. Well worth the investment and of course comes with the usual Respironics quality,"
